My appetizer was served just shy of room temperature. I said nothing . However, my lasagna came out the same way. I waited 10 min for the waitress to return. She brought the dish back to the kitchen, only to return it 10 min later in the same condition: room temperature. I told her there was no improvement in the entrée and that I would simply take it home and heat it myself. She returned with the entrée in a takeout container and told me she would remove it from the bill. When the bill came, the lasagna was still on it. When we pointed this out, she indicated she intended to take it off at the register, but would take it off now instead. While doing that, she took the package lasagna and never returned it. Needless to say. After this experience, I will not be returning to this restaurant.
Ordered the Nana's Gravy with pork neck bones. Was a bit salty. The Spumoni ice cream was good. I thought $6.00 for coffee was too much
Great food and service. Has the feel of an old school family owned restaurant with an upscale menu and fair pricing. Seems to attract neighborhood patrons. Always a good sign.
Delicious food--but portions way too large. Excellent strong cocktails. Attentive service.
Had a lovely birthday celebration dinner. Bobby is the best server, impeccable timing, perfectly attentive. We're always delighted when we can be seated in his section. Recommend the baked artichoke, very creamy and delectable. Nice soup of the day, was creamy garlic and eggplant. We had the corvino special, shrimp diablo, chicken limone, tortellini w cream sauce, sausage, pancetta. Food was solid- very good as usual. Nice wine list and full bar. Not as fond of the outdoor area, but that's what allows more reservations, so you know. Zaza's is definitely our go-to place for a nicer Italian meal, would recommend.
Have been here several times -normally all has been great! This particular visit we had a humiliating experience! Our server was great but a different server out of the blue just embarrassed and humiliated us in front of the restaurant in front of all the customers where we had people looking at us. The couple next to us weee like OMG! The waiter actually came back to our table and was putting a salad back in my friend's face and yelling ! This happened last week and I'm still thinking about this incident. I can't get it out of my mind. So I think it will be a while before I even come back.
Service, while pleasant, was extremely slow this Saturday night. Prices are steep, however, very fresh ingredients. Noise level is extremely high.
Our server, Jessica, as always was wonderful. She was attentive, kind and helped us celebrate my father's 84th birthday with such enthusiasm.
Ann our waitress was fantastic! We had a party off 8 and she took care of everyone! Very nice and personable!
We had a new server and service was not up to par. Meatballs were undercooked and came out cold in the center twice before they got it right. It was Saturday, they were busy, but not their usual delicious selves.

Jessica our server was excellent. Anticipated our needs, suggested dishes, checked on us frequently & did not rush us. Chicken Milanese was cooked perfectly with lots of flavor, eggplant oarm had just the right amt of cheese & sauce to my liking & the crab cake appetizer was presented well & had a good crab to filling ratio. The dining room grew louder as it filled up, but that's testament to Zaza's popularity.
We had a great family dinner at Za Za's last night. The food and service were excellent. They were wonderful to our grandchildren who loved it as well!
Service was less than perfect. Ordered a salad which was never delivered. Had to wait to order and then took a long time to get our check. Food was good.
Delicious as always. The crab cake appetizer was yummy as was our vodka pasta and linguine with shrimp. Great service as well.
Exceptional as always. I had Nana's bones-scrumptious. My husband had whitefish and said it was great.
