My wife and I were on the hunt for the perfect spot for a romantic date night, and Zaza came highly recommended. We made sure to reserve our seats in advance, and upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the bustling atmosphere of the restaurant. Though the noise level was slightly higher than expected, it added to the lively ambiance and didn't detract from our overall experience. To kick off our evening, we indulged in some expertly crafted cocktails. I opted for the Old Fashioned, while my wife enjoyed the Manhattan. Both drinks were impeccably mixed, boasting robust flavors that set the tone for the culinary delights to come. For our appetizers, we decided to sample the baked oysters and scallops. While the oysters were decent, it was the scallops that truly stole the show. Cooked to perfection, they were tender, succulent, and bursting with flavor. In fact, I'd go as far as to rate them a solid 10 out of 10 – a rare accolade from someone who's typically reserved in their praise.Moving on to the main course, my wife opted for the lobster ravioli, while I selected the seabass. Both dishes were nothing short of exceptional, showcasing the skillful execution and authentic flavors that Zaza is renowned for. We found ourselves savoring every bite, ultimately cleaning our plates – a testament to the quality and taste of the cuisine. To round off our meal on a sweet note, we followed our server's recommendation and indulged in the tiramisu and chocolate truffle desserts. The tiramisu was rich and creamy, while the chocolate truffle was a decadent delight. Though tempted by the soufflé, we decided to save it for our next visit – a testament to our certainty that we'll be returning to Zaza in the near future.our experience at Zaza surpassed all expectations, making it the quintessential Italian dining destination for any occasion. From the impeccable service to the exquisite cuisine, every aspect of our evening was truly unforgettable. Zaza has undoubtedly earned its place as our go-to spot for Italian cuisine, and we can't wait to return for another memorable dining experience. Grazie mille, Zaza, for an evening we won't soon forget!

Unbelievably delicious! Authentic northern Italian food with a wide variety. Our waitress Nancy... was a wealth of information in helping us choose our entrees because I personally could have ordered every item on the menu.

The eggplant parmesan and meatball appetizers were good as always. After our salads were served, we waited approximately 25 minutes and no entree. Since it was close to 9:30 I told the server we would take it to go. Was getting a little tired of just sitting there and waiting. There was another table across the room with a little girl who was making it known that she was tired and ready to go - like me! She was adorable. When our food finally arrived, the server asked if we were leaving because the little girl was being disruptive or because the food was late. WHAT? How dare a server blame another customer for the restaurant's mistake. The little girl was completely adorable and didn't bother me in the least, only the ridiculously long wait for the entree. To add insult to injury the mozzarella cheese on top of the lasagna was burnt - UGH. If they were out of lasagna they should have said so. I'm not sure if they made another lasagna and rushed it or just forgot about the order. Super disappointing experience and recommend this place for carryout only. This is not the first time we have had problems dining there.

Experience was fine, but nothing to write home about. Food and service were adequate but we felt like the experience was overpriced. There are better options in the area.Pros: Some elements of fine dining experience - nice presentation, free bread, attentive waitstaff, and food was reasonably good.Minor qualms: Cocktails were $15 a piece and were mediocre at best. Portions were small for the price compared to other Italian restaurants.Reason for score: I believe the meatballs were undercooked (partially raw) and didn't eat them. We were reassured by the kitchen (via our server), that they were not undercooked - but we chose not to eat them anyway and we didn't receive any offer for discount, item removal from the bill or any complementary item as a consolation. In a time of shrinkflation and rising food costs, its small stuff like this that confirms why I won't be returning anytime soon.

Food was tasteless, too loud, tables to close to each other, server bummed into us a few times while eating just not good overall. Could go into detail but do not think it will make any difference

We love this place! Our server Bobby was tip top and true pro. The food & drink was fabulous, and some new fans were made of friends we brought here for the first time. It will not be long before we go back to ZaZa's.

We have eaten at zaza's many times over the years and have always loved the food. This was the first time we were disappointed with some dishes. We ordered the stuffed artichoke as one of our appetizers and it was completely different than when we had it before. It wasn't “stuffed” between the leaves at all. It should have a mix of breadcrumbs with olive oil, garlic, parmesan cheese, herbs, etc. between each leaf. This had some weird, watery white sauce over it instead. The linguine was too al dente, and not enough clams. The ricotta in the stuffed shells had no taste and the shells were also too al dente. The baked oysters were very good as was the cheesecake. We hope this was just an “off” night as this is one of our favorite italian restaurants!

Unfortunately, our experience at one of our favorite restaurants was ruined this Friday evening when we were seated on the porch next to a overly noisy group of almost 20 people. Good food was delayed over 30 minutes with thoughts of getting up and leaving before our dinner arrived. Adjoining tables were actually shouting to be heard over the din. When you pay over $100 for a dinner for two, you don't want to be upset by the lack of manners of a particular group. I will never again be seated in the porch due to the horrendous noise that ruined our diner. It gives me second thoughts if I want to experience that again.

This is mine and my families second time there. The first time was 5 stars. This time the service wasn't as good. Our waiter didn't seem to know the menu and wasn't very attentive. The runners for the food and the bus boys were great. I would definitely go again and would definitely not have the same waiter.

Get the Salsiccia Diablo and thank me later!

The food was excellent and the service was great. We were seated in the enclosed porch area and the tables were back to back and it was very crowded. Very hard to hear each other talking as the noise level was tremendous in there.
