The scallop with wasabi mayo was my favorite, and the spicy tuna roll was delicious! major improvement using the new recipe as opposed to spicy mayo. I keep seeing people raving about this place. I've gone 3 separate times and it was never good. The last time was because they started doing Ramen which I love. The Oriental Spoon in Edwardsville has far better Ramen. And it's less expensive. I guess they great reviews for this place is because of their sushi. But their hibachi and Ramen isn't nothing to write home about.

I was not a fan of this place. I had calamari, sushi, and miso soup. I thought the calamari tasted cheap and frozen. It was thick and not to par with typical Japanese ika rings. The sushi was the only good part, but it wasn't anything special. Their miso soup is fine. The service was okay. It was quite empty, and there were a few workers standing around. It felt odd. The whole atmosphere seemed cheap, which I guess is what I should have expected from a sushi place in a strip mall next to a dollar store. I personally won't be going back. If you're looking for sushi, it's not terrible, and there aren't many spots in the area for it.

New owner new changes! No longer serving soft shell crab, which is unfortunate. Although the shrimp are way better and bigger. But, the steak is a different cut and a lot more chewier and tougher. Sushi is the same just a price increase. We use to come twice a week- now it's maybe once a month if that.

Went in on Valentines Day, 3 tables when we went in. We were told about 20 minutes on sushi, but apps would be out quickly. Once we sat down and ordered drinks and 3 apps. 20 minutes later no apps and we were told another 20 minutes and sushi would now be an hour. The whole time they were answering the phone and taking more and more orders. Very poor management and preparation for a busy evening. We won’t go back again. Usually add photos but didn’t receive anything to take photos of!!
