“Our group of 4 enjoyed a delightful birthday dinner at Porter's this evening. A tantalizing aroma greeted us upon entering the classically decorated dining room. Our server, Ms. Kilie, warmly welcomed us and gave us her knowledgeable insights regarding the menu and specialties of the evening. She graciously conveyed my medically necessary dietary restrictions to the chef and took the extra step of offering some off-menu options. The result was a delicious meal enjoyed with great friends, thanks to Kilie, and the considerate chef.”

“Met 6 friends here for our monthly dinner gathering. Many of them had dined here previously so they all knew they wanted order a gyro plate. I think 5 of them did that esp knowing that they would have enough to enjoy it again the next day. Chicken piccata was my selection. The chicken was very tender and tasty. I was surprised at how much pasta I had along with chicken. Sauce was very good too with plenty of mushrooms and sautéed onions in there. House salad comes with the entrees. I ordered saganaki for the table and we all enjoyed that. They didn't renew liquor license after Covid so they allow you to bring in your own wine, which of course we did. Our waitress was efficient esp considering she had a very party in another room. She seemed bristly initially but once you got her talking she was friendly.”

“Its a gem in the collinsville downtown. Place has a unique atmosphere and the staff are top notch. Everyone's friendly and treats you like a regular from your first visit.My family loves getting every meal here and the foods great.If you live in town or are visiting, stop by and get breakfast or lunch. “We had a late dinner over the wknd after a long day at vball tournament. We drove 20 min to get out of the city to hopefully avoid the vball crowd. It worked, not many people there. Our service was great and our delicious food arrived quickly. If ever passing through that area again, we will absolutely eat there again!”

“After dining here three times, its time I passed along a couple of observations. The menu has a good selection of favorites or soon-to-be favorites, the prices are decent and the place has a simple but cozy feel. However, it can get crowded and parking can be a challenge. Still worth the trip.”

“We came in with a party of 30. The service was absolutely amazing. We called ahead. They were prepared for us. The service was fast and friendly. Every order was perfect. The food was great. Everyone got something different than everyone enjoyed it. I personally got the hot ham and cheese sandwich and it was amazing. The fish looked great.”

“I’m a vegetarian, so I just ordered the fried rice. It was exceptionally good rice — and the guy gave me TOO MUCH of it (which I guess is a good thing to some people).I’d definitely go back for the fried rice, which is awesome with the teriyaki sauce.”

Colton's launched five new alcoholic beverages Today 4/17/24 & Yummmmm! They did not disappoint.Very Tasty!!! Y'all give it a chance rather other Steak houses around here.”
