Went to a retirement party and it was wonderful. Open area for people to mingle. Bar staff were great. Food was good. Everyone had a really great time.

Longshots at Fairmount Park offers a mix of good food and live music in a cozy, warm setting. The menu includes Mediterranean Pizza, shrimp, pulled pork, baked potato, baked beans, and nachos. Many guests praise the shrimp as excellent and the pulled pork and baked potato as tasty. The Mediterranean Pizza comes piping hot with cheese still stringin' and fresh, flavorful veggies. Some diners note that salads were laughable, the smoked platter was not very warm, and fries were cold. The cheese on the nachos was also cold at first, but the bartender/waiter brought a new platter. Prices feel high for frequent visits. Service is generally friendly and attentive; the manager was a very nice lady who went above and beyond. Live music, especially Paul Bonn & The Bluesmen, is a highlight. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and County western feel with a huge variety of spirits to choose from. It is a great spot for a date night, girls' night out, or a work event. Many guests plan to return.
