“I went to Red Robin last night and I was not impressed. It's usually rather expensive but at least the food is good. I waited a while and my burger was room temperature. I got the last of the bag fries. Just little pieces of crunchy nothings. Which I would have just eaten anyway. But the big problem was everything was salty. My burger and my fries. Salty to the point that I couldn't eat it. I just bagged it up and took it home for the dog. I didn't season it at all. I'm not sure why they would be putting so much seasoning on their food. especially salt. it's rather annoying when you're paying almost $20 for a burger and you can't eat it. I didn't complain nor ask for my money back but now I wish I would have. I usually don't have a problem with them. Today was a really bad day though.”

“The last time I visited the Olive Garden, it was almost ok food. This time we were reluctant to go but had a gift card that needed used. It was really pretty good this ti.e. prompt aervice and the Mushroom ravioli was quite delicious. Salad and breadsticks were just ok, a little too salty.”

Service was prompt and staff friendly. Televisions on the wall so you can watch tv while eating. Couple next to me had an omelette and biscuits and gravy said they were delicious. Next time I’ll try their pancakes or French Toast.”

“Needed somewhere with decent WiFi and comfortable seating to finish some work, so I stopped by this cafe around 4 PM. Ended up staying almost three hours because the environment felt relaxed enough to focus properly. I ordered cold brew coffee and garlic toast while working. The toast had a nice crunch and didn’t taste oily at all. A group near the front became loud for a few minutes, though staff handled it politely without creating awkward tension. Good place for studying, reading, or remote work sessions.”

Update on 5/4/26 - I literally purchase sandwiches at least 2-3 times a week if not 4. Same thing, Number 8, Sub Club Mike's Way with pickles. This location is closer to me than others but they are not consistent. This time the cheese and meat were cut so thin, I couldn't taste the cheese and the meat was lost amongst the bread and vegetables. At $12 a sandwich, this is disappointing yet again.

3/25/26 I purchase sandwiches from this shop almost weekly. Today, I received the most disappointing service. The guy with the red beard and hair made like I annoyed him because I didn’t want my Mike’s Hot Italian to be heated. He said you don’t want that then, you want the regular. I said no because I want the meats and everything I just don’t want it heated because I drive 25 minutes there and back home. He throws my sandwich together by the grill where I couldn’t see. Something told me to check my food before leaving. He didn’t add the pickles, onions, or mayo but gave me wilted lettuce and soft tomatoes. He threw the pickles on, I received a side cup of onions and mayo packets. Didn’t bother to cut my sandwich either. I felt disappointed and dismissed while others after me were treated pleasantly. I’ll spend my hard earned dollars elsewhere!”

“First of all I love Starbucks! But for the last 2 days I've went to the Fairview Heights location to get my same drink. The caramel ribbon crunch frappuccino, and for 2 days straight I've asked for light caramel drizzle because it's too sweet and extra crunch. It even says it on the label stuck to my drink, but yet it's covered in caramel and there's no extra crunch. And I know sometimes we become complacent because we're in a hurry we're making the same drink every day multiple times, but I usually have to get a spoon and scrape it out. I will even pay more next time I go, just to get what I ask for...”

He was attentive to not only my Husband and myself, but he graciously attended to other families that were dining in the place. Our salads were delicious with fresh greens and season fruits. The Arnold Palmer was mixed just right and I will return and recommend dining in to friends and family in the area.”
