This was a great find. We were in the area at the racetrack and craving Mexican. My wife and I both enjoyed the carne asada. The fresh salsa was good but neither of us like the chips. Free chips are not a deal breaker for me so it didn't really matter but they were kind of tasteless and stale. The meal made up for it many times over. Really a great flavour and pretty good refried beans. This place is worth a second visit.

This is my go to place for tacos de tripa! They are definitely fresh and the salsa here is delicious. On Monday's they offer .99 margaritas. I have also tried their Chile Rellenos and they are tasty. It's very hard for me to find a Mexican restaurant that I like and am so happy I found this place! Service can be sketchy at times though.

Oh my! The Tacos de Asada are wonderful! The meat is tender the tortillas perfectly done! They have a hotter salsa if you ask and it's divine!

Sadly the food and service has gone down the drain,it was the first Mexican restaurant we went to went we arrived to Illinois. After this last experience we will never go back sadly. 1.We arrived and dirty dishes everywhere 2.Had hair in my food 3.Brought food second plate and well that plate food got me sick, end up (tmi) vomiting in our car. 4.Waitress never came to check on us. 5.The so called manager doesn't know how to properly deal with customers, telling me he has never had people complained about the food..yeah I am sorry but the rest of tour customers might like hair on their food not me.I am pretty sure people don't like hair in the food. 6.To finish this off those dirty dishes still didn't get picked up.

This was my favorite Mexican restaurant they closed awhile came back with smaller menu. Little by little they brought menu items back but here are my past 3 experiences that will keep me away. When I asked was a certain conspired of waitress just said I don't know, not let me find out and actually she should know the menu. Next visit a month later same waitress still clueless and the third was a new one that recommended a dish for me which was mushy and tasteless when I asked when they changed up there carne Asada with mainly peppers onions and jalapeños instead of steak she said I don't know it's only my third day working lol. Sad so sad but I will not be back.

I love yelp it always helps me locate great places. We were back to the hotel and found this place on the way. We had four children with us and everyone enjoyed their meal. We ordered the carne asada and one of their quesadillas. The orchata was great too.

We had the chicken fajita nachos and the taco salad, both were delicious. We recommend this authentic Mexican restaurant

Still the best place to get authentic Mexican tacos! Unfortunately they no longer have Salsa Verde or Salsa Roja. Now they serve a brown spicy sauce. It's okay but spicer than I would like.
