I called a week ago because on the website they did not have cherry pie. I called the bakery. I ordered a cherry pie specifically and an apple. I added an apple pie onto the end of the conversation. We came to pick it up today and no Cherry Pie which is my son-in-law‘s favorite pie so just saying be careful when you’re ordering if you can’t do it online. They then blamed me for no cherry pie and that I didn’t order it, and I called and talked to the woman on the phone and specifically asked for a cherry pie. And I’m sorry would’ve worked, but saying that I didn’t order a cherry pie has made me a little angry! Great place to order cakes and pies and all of the other things. It is the best pie and pie crust in the area!

Everyone should steer clear of this place; that way I won't have to wait in line or experience the crushing depression that comes if they run out of lemon bars.
Seriously, though - wonderful staff (very patient with me as I struggled with the impulse to buy every item in sight), very clean inside and out, and the from-scratch goods they produce restore my faith in humanity. I've thought of buying some items for friends and family, but deep down I know the stuff wouldn't even make it out of my truck, much less into someone else's hands.
They also offer a 10% military discount, for which I'm very grateful. Highly highly recommend; the artists in that kitchen definitely understand the concept that food = love.
My son and his wife took us here for breakfast while we were in town visiting. The crowd inside the door was a testament to the flavorful selection of freshly made bakery products. We bought a variety of items, Angel Cream Donut, Lemon Bar, Cream Puff, Almond Bearclaw, Mini Cherry Strudel, Brownies, Chocolate Chip Cookies and three Cream Horns. Everything was delicious and didn’t last long as evidenced by the photo.
If you live in or near Collinsville, IL or are passing through, I strongly recommend you go to Kruta Bakery. We will definitely be back.

My family is obsessed with Krutas and every time we introduce someone to it they fall in love too! The staff is very kind and happy to answer questions, the place is clean and well organized. Best donuts in the area hands down over anywhere! If they’d only add themselves to one of the delivery companies that would put the icing on the cake and ya think they’re busy now, imagine if they added themselves to DoorDash or GrubHub or Uber Eats how much more business they would have! Just saying because some of us just don’t have a vehicle and would be nice to get them delivered so going from having them 2-3 times a week to only eating them maybe once a month truly sucks due to no car. Oh well I’ll still enjoy them whenever I get to!
