I'm rating a bit higher than I feel is strictly true, but the nostalgia is really hitting for me. The A&W LJS used to be my gramma's favorite restaurant before she passed, and the location in the town I lived in closed down many years ago. I only realized this location existed today, after having lived here about 2 years now. Somehow even though I had seen the building, it never clicked what it was. Man, am I glad I went in though. The food was every bit as tasty as I remember it being when I would go with mamaw. I had a #11 with cheese curds and onion rings, and a rootbeer float to drink. Terribly unhealthy I'm sure, but man was it tasty. I've missed this stuff more than I realized. The staff was pleasant, and helpful as well. I rung the bell on my way out, and I'll definitely come back!

Always cancel any delivery order I’ve ever placed takes for ever when you go even if there is only one car other then you in drive

They said the food was coming out there fryer in 1 min to drive around. Sat in the car for 10 min and went in and they forgot me. Got home ot was greasy and tasted

Was not impressed. The only good thing was the food came out hot but the restaurant appeared dirty. I ordered the shrimp meal and one of my fried shrimp came out still with the skin on it. And the food made my whole family sick.

Closes whenever they want despite having workers there. Staff have bad attitude and don't care. And when they do decide to work the food is subpar compared to other LJS places. Overcooked or extra greasy is on the menu here. Generally love LJS but I'm going to avoid this one until they make some major

We were horribly disappointed with our food yesterday. We arrived at 11:30ish, only dine in customers so far. 3 employees and one customer in a pick up spot, but maybe the door dash was busy.We ordered from the a&w menu, 2 double cheese burgers, one with bacon, both with cheese curds. $30. The food took 20ish minutes fine. The burgers were so burnt and chewy it was inedible. No cheese left in our cheese curds.In the time we were there eating, two customers came back in with order issues. With so many burger places at the same price point I suggest skipping this one.

Ordered from the LJS's website and they accepted my order and charged my card, however the store was closed when I went to pick up my order. The manager stated that the money would not be returned without me returning to the store with my card. When I pointed out that I did not have to be present at the store for my card to be charged, she threatened to call the police. Horrible service and downright theft. This order was almost $65 too which is another level of ridiculousness. I am filing a complaint.
