This establishment made their workers come in during a multiple-day winter storm warning. They do not care about the safety of their employees, or their patrons. The roads are horrendous. There have been accidents happening all day, all around the area. This pub wants to get people drunk and send them back out onto these terrible road conditions. When someone gets seriously injured, I'm sure they'll deny it. McDill's does not care about the safety or well-being of their people. Don't patronize this establishment that doesn't even value its employees' lives.

Bad business practices. I used to love eating here because it was locally owned and a good spot in town. HOWEVER. The owner has chosen greed over their employees and asked them to come in during a WINTER STORM. We have inches of snow with sleet falling. They don’t pay their employees enough to risk damaging their car and/or themselves. SURELY wouldn’t give them any PTO or FMLA for healing. SURELY wouldn’t replace them. I understand running a business, but I also understand empathy to my employees who have lives, families who love them, mouths to feed, and dreams to see through. INCREDIBLE DISAPPOINTED TO SEE A LOCAL BUSINESS CHOOSE GREED OVER THEIR PEOPLE.

We head to McDill's whenever our son brings a train into town. We drive over from St. Charles (MO), pick him up at his hotel, and sit down for dinner and conversation. We can always count on good food and an atmosphere where we can talk without the music being too loud. Great service too!

My girlfriend said this was one of the best burgers she has ever had. I can personally attest to the fact that they know how to make a reuben. Also, they make great drinks. Last night was crazy. That's not relevant to the review but I just thought you should know. Its the next morning & i probably still shouldn't operate a motor vehicle. Nick was a great & attentive server & Max is an awesome bartender. I'm sure we were annoying but they held strong😂 I will definitely be back

Wow! What a gem! My party has the Irish burger (phenomenal!), hot ham and cheese sandwich (also phenomenal) and the turkey club (excellent). Portions are generous, prices are within reason, our waitress Isabel was wonderful, the bartender was a bit slow. We will absolutely come back again and again and again!!

You know it is very rare that I give five stars across the board. But the bartender greeted me as soon as I walked in. He was very knowledgeable of everything on the menu and everything behind the bar. He explained to me just how long it would take to get my food because everything was made fresh. The wings were amazing, but the egg rolls oh my goodness

No wonder this place was rated so highly on Food Network! Definitely need a to go box to finish the Reuben! Very good selection of beer and of course Irish whiskeys. Several good dart games and a pool table.

I rarely give 5 * across the board but McDills hits the mark and delivers what I'm looking for in an Irish pub. And that is good food, great draft beer and whiskey selection, a lively crowd, and great service. You'd think big deal another place that serves a Reuben sandwich. Let me tell you, this was 1/2 lb of freshly cut corned beef brisket that was perfectly prepared. Delicious. My only regret was that I was unable to eat the entire thing in one sitting. I will be a regular here.
Parking: When it's hopping you might need to park on the street or something...
Kid-friendliness: Hmmm. Kid-friendliness depends on the time of day. Stay safe and only bring kids when the kiddos should be awake. When it's their "bed time", it's best to keep them out of McDill's (if ya know what I mean).
