Delicious but a bit overpriced.

The food is decent, better than the other Chinese restaurants in the immediate area (that is not a high bar). However, the price of the food is much higher than the quality and they charge an extra 4% if you use any card to pay.

I ordered take out from Peking Garden on the recommendation of a friend. I was able to find the menu online. I had planned to pick up my order on the way home from work. However, I wasn't able to do so because the restaurant is closed from, 2pm-4pm. I found this to be extremely inconvenient.
The restaurant was easy to find. It's conveniently located on a street corner. The main entrance is closed off, which I found to be inconvenient.
I had to walk all the way around the building and up a ramp to access the front door.
Once inside there was no staff to greet me. I stood there a few minutes not knowing where to go. Finally a worker was able to assist me with my takeout order.
Once home I unboxed my food. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The food appeared to be fresh. The meat looked appetizing, not over saturated in sugar and not fried. The vegetables were crisp, not limp. The white rice was fluffy. I ordered my food with no salt, nor any MSG added. The food tasted just as good as it looked. I will definitely order again from this restaurant. The food prices are fair, and the portion sizes are generous.
If you like Chinese cuisine you definitely need to give this place a go. You won't be disappointed.

Forgot a couple things on our order and the crab ragoon had absolutely no crab in it! The Mongolian beef was very bland and just not impressed with the food at all

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. The other being the defunct Wang Gang.

I love this place the food is the best in town compared to other places around town. The only reason I don’t give a 5 star is because the prices are not consistent or rather is being charged more than what the menu says. I ordered 3 sesame chickens and 3 house special lo meins. According to the menu that would have been $77+ tax but was charged $104. I don’t understand the huge price difference. My menu isn’t old either I just picked it up the other day to compare what I was being charged. It’s the only Chinese I like in town so I will be coming back but please update your menus to reflect what we are being charged.

Best we have ever had, we moved some years ago, and still come back to Peking Garden because of the quality service and food!
A Large menu featuring pretty average Chinese food. Great service.

Such a great place! Always fresh and quick for pickup. I come at least here once a week. The inside is very quaint, like you’re invited over for a family dinner.
Food was meh. Decided to try it out since New China is closed on tuesdays… bad idea! Crab Rangoon was so hard looks like it was left over from earlier in the day. The egg fried rice was okay nothing special. We also got pan fried pot stickers/dumplings and they weren’t cooked long enough. Idk where the good reviews are coming from but it wasn’t it for me. Idk how new china has lower ratings and tbh wit food is way better…. Sounds fishy to me.
Good food, good price
Love this place! Best General Tso Chicken and egg rolls around….
