I had the gator bites which are decent, but the gumbo was horrible. I had what appeared to be 5 pounds of okra in my plate. It was extremely watery, there was nothing remotely traditionally about the gumbo. I imagine there was no flour used in the roux at all. I wouldn't recommend it.
Went here around Halloween. They were having their Halloween party, but that isn't why we went. I love Cajun food. I had the Cajun sampler. Red beans and rice, gumbo, and jumbelia all on the same plate. The food was awesome. Our server was friendly. Only thing that could have made our experience better would be if they updated their menu on the internet. But yeah we will eat there again.
Food was amazing. Had the catfish with fries and slaw. Cooked just how I like it. Keeping it NOLA with the seasoning. We'll be back...
One of our favorite spots! A little taste of NOLA on main st ? Food, drinks, and staff are all great! Try the gooey butter cake but bring a friend(s) ?
My very first time going and was disappointed ? Got an order to go of fried Catfish and Shrimp to go,got it home and it wasn't done. Took it back which was a drive. The lady apologized and asked if I wanted her to rebook but after the drive and the wait before I pass. I feel they should have done more than returning my money after all I went through. Very Disappointed ?
Great atmosphere. Awesome food. Definitely going back!! I had shrimp. Great tasting. My partner had catfish. It was great too.
Stopped by to get some food while passing through the area. Got a well-done burger. 35min wait. There were only 5 people in the building, none had food besides me. The meat was still red, had to buy food again somewhere else. Not a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The vibe was off, waitress assumed I wanted my food to go when I first showed up and sat down to order. Got looks, probably because I wasn’t from the town.
Blackened shrimp taco's are amazing.Jambalaya is delicious. Some of the best I've eaten.Price are reasonable and nice environment
Absolutely wonderful food. Best Cajun we have had in a long time and very reasonable prices! Will be back
The food was delicious. The bartender was everything! If you're not big on spicy food like me, ask questions. I loved the mardi vibe.

The Class of 1970 met there on Friday night during Italian Fest. The waitstaff worked hard to take excellent care of us. The patio was perfect for our gathering.
Food was very good and the wait staff was friendly. We had the jambalaya and cornbread. It was great! Had a good kick but not too hot, great Cajun flavor.
We found a new place to go have a awesome unique reasonably priced meal!! We can't WAIT to go back. The cooks there have some real talent. They cook with heart and soul ❤️
Ambiance was great, live band. The fried pickles were yummy. The Buffalo nachos had great presentation BUT, cheese was cold, chips were a tad stale and in general had a funny (not good) taste. I mentioned to the server, sent back, but was still charged :(.
Great flavor, flavor was on point. I was confused about red beans and rice, familiar with various recipes or versions of red beans and rice. It does actually include a tad bit more rice. There were like a few rice grains almost like a soup. Gumbo tastes good as well, found it to be unusually watery consistency. Makes me feel it is not completely authentic. A good effort for Cajun food in this part of the country, I guess.
