The food was great order gumbo with a side of rice. Only bad thing was they ran out of crab, cakes, and soda. Probably the best gumbo I had in cook county.

Good experience for me..... Had gumbo.... Loaded mashed potato..... Shrimp and grits. It was soul food like I like it.... Flavorful.... Full-bodied..... Real ingredients..... None of that light fluffy stuff... Dining room clean and quaint.... All that was missing was alcoholic beverage..... They gave up license during pandemic..... If you're around the country Club hills area check out Nina's

We visited the restaurant again after having a very bad customer service experience 2x prior and after leaving an unsatisfactory review was told to email anitas address for better results and have not heard back from absolutely no one. If you continue to be under average with your follow up believe me word will get out and it will go viral that you are not an establishment of your word. That you don’t really want to fix what was broken and you are not interested in customer retention. I have left several messages of multiple communication for a live Physical person to contact me and no one has. Your Restaurant has to do better. (It be your Own people) This is Request 9 @ making your service better. Would like to give you more stars but you fail every time.

I do not frequent this establishment often. However, in the three sporadic times that I have placed an order I've experienced rudeness from the cashier ( a young man) and the wrong order. I'm sorry but three strikes I'm out!!

Yesterday we ordered three dinners two of our size were mac & cheese it burned a hole through the container three hours later the guy called us back and told us we need to bring a container back in to show proof I felt like that was so unprofessional call us three hours later.

Well I must say that this my first and last time here,customer service means a lot to me. I work with the public as well and for myself .very rude young lady ,I placed my order and she said 10min, about 20min later I asked her how much longer she said very rudely about another 12-15 minutes and they have a lot of order's and it will be up once it's up, then went to the back preceding to stop the cook and tell him about our conversation very loud ,it was another customer who was there with her family and shook her head saying she was never coming back. I have no problem spending my money with my people (blacks)but our customer service sucks sometimes. We must do better so sad I will recommend to anyone not to go there
I'm giving 1 star for the customer service. The cashier was very nice, polite and pleasant. I visited last Saturday. This is my 4th time visiting this establishment and everytime it tasted different and a little portion for the $ you pay. I'm from Mississippi, I know what good gumbo taste like and this definitely isn't it!! Ordered 2 half orders of chicken and it was mainly roux and not to mention the vegetables were crunchy and the chicken was tough little pieces!!! The reason for the 4 visits was, because 2 of those visits Nita had to correct my order and my I add she was nice over the phone, but in person she has a nasty disposition. I always try to support my neighborhood establishments and especially black owned!! But this is where I draw the line with Nita's gumbo!!!

Man man man when I tell you that gumbo and gumboalya made me my dispatch to find me more loads that go up to that way, and I'm From little Rock but I got family in baton rouge so I'm always eating good but Nina's make you stand in front of the store like Jordan's just dropped, super good food!!!
