Whata Taco Authentic Mexican Food

Excellent food and service. They get extremely busy at odd times and you just have to be patient because they are cook to order fresh. Been coming here since they opened.

Unfortunately I ate here Monday at 9:30pm (6-1-26) by Tuesday morning at 4am I was pooping and throwing up. I was down for 24 hours. I bought nacho cheese and red salsa. My kids ate the tacos, they were fine thank God. But I was the only one who ate the red salsa leaving me to believe it was old. Never going back. After reading the reviews I should not have been there in the first place! We need a better taco spot serving this area!

The flantas are horrible. They chopped up old chicken and FOLDED a taco shell and fried it. It was not completely rounded and half open. It was overly salty and I felt like I was eating old food. The flantas were half the size of a normal flauta. Like a mini taco. Do not order these at all. Poor quality.

Just go somewhere else. Authentic mexican food is definitely false advertisement. Coming in the place looked closed signs were off. Cashier kept rushing for the order process to be done with. They themselves gave off I do not want to be here energy. Drinks ordered did not taste fresh: stirring in machines from yesterday is my guess strawberry lemonade and jarrito pineapple slushi. Now as we wait for food nothing in the air says this is a restaurant. I should of asked for the money returned then. Food came and it tasted straight off the microwave. Cheese on the steak quessadilla tasted slightly off like it was left out cheese not refrigerated. Service never came to check in as we ate in the restaurant. Our food was to eat there and packed as if it were to go. Leaving still no aroma of food whatsoever 😩 skip do not attempt to eat here. Cooks do not care and will push out orders out of a microwave.

Dine in food was not up to par with known Mexican authentic chips tasted a couple of days old. The tortillas were still cold. I feel like the worst is that the food being cooked gives no aroma .....😶‍🌫️🤔🤯

Food is great! Daily specials. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Go on Tuesdays, $2 beef and chicken tacos.

Wow. This food is great I'm from South Texas and I've missed good Mexican food. Their prices are incredible, so I thought for sure their food would be butt but its delicious and generous portions. The best bite was the spicy chicken tamales. Will be back regularly

The food was good. I had the 2 steak Gorditas meal that came with rice and beans, they were really flavorful. The steak on the steak fries was a bit tough which is standard with it being skirt steak.

Purchased a burrito dinner today with red sauce on the side. As I poured the red sauce on the steak burrito, a brown hair was coming out of the sauce. I threw the entire dinner in the garbage. The place is actually filthy. I use to love this place.

I had the steak taco dinner, and it was really good! I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wanted to share my experience because I don’t understand why some people left bad feedback. My meal was delicious, and the service was great. Definitely worth trying!

Upon walking in, place was clean. I ordered the quedabirria dinner + 1 extra, cus I’m big back. Got the horchata to go with it. The consomé was fire, tacos were heavily filled, cheese still melting, rice tasty, no fat from the meat. Man o man that food was good. I was worried cus of the negative reviews but I’m so glad I tried it. Guys trust me I’m Latina, I know tacos lol these were FIRE! Oh and the customer service was pleasant. Food came out in 5 mins. 😊 Il be back but this time for MORE
