I simply loved the crab Rangoon appetizer not a huge fan until I had theirs can’t say enough and and the egg roll were very fresh upon inquiring. I found they make them in house and the crab Rangoon’s that explains why I never had a Rangoon that good any place Highly recommend it

Every time we've been to Dragon Light we've had a great experience and excellent meal. Always have food to take home and enjoy. Great servers too. A favorite for great Chinese food.

The best Chinese food in Joliet!!!!! Love the guy taking orders at the counter he is funny rude type I always mess with him lol… great place !!!!

We have been going here since 1988. Has always been our "go to" Chinese restaurant.
Unfortunately since COVID the quality of the food has been going downhill.
Last Thursday my wife and I had Shrimp fried rice. The rice was really dark looking instead of golden brown like normal.
About midnight we both woke up to a very upset stomach and diarrhea. I spent the rest of the night in the bathroom and most of Friday as well.
Don't think we will be going back here anymore.
Too bad too. They used to be our only Chinese restaurant we'd go to. Not anymore.

The beef chap suite was ninety percent beef

1st time ordering, to start off…the man on the phone was very helpful and patient when explaining/translating food options, thank you for that.
The portions were very big, the food overall was DELICIOUS! Everything had its own individual flavor. It’s safe to say this is now our favorite local Chinese restaurant ?

Going to try and make this as short as possible. We got there and were greeted as if we were interrupting the host from a busy day while the restaurant was pretty empty. The waiter had zero personality and seemed to be nicer towards the end of our meal, which made me believe he was simply being nice for the tip. The cart in the restaurant to serve food was squeaking like something out of a horror movie. The portions were large, but the food wasn’t that great. I can’t say it was horrible, but I’ve had my share of Chinese food, and this was definitely not an establishment I would revisit.

Decent Chinese food at reasonable prices. Nothing stood out as exceptionally good, but we have never been disappointed with any of their dishes either. Inside looks very dated and carpets looked a little dingy.

I have enjoyed Chinese food my entire adult life in the Chicago area. I’ve been to Dragon Light many times. The food and service quality has been declining with every visit. I’m not going back after the meal I had today.
