“First time me and my husband have been here. As we walked in our hands were shipped by the owner, which was a great welcome. The waffle was amazing. Presentation of the waffle was great. The eggs were cooked properly. Coffee was wonderful, including a craft at the table, lemon water was placed on the table as well. If I am in this area as I live two hours away I will certainly return. I recommend this place highly for a wonderful breakfast. Nice big menu but not too overwhelming. Give it a try. My only gripes were that I could get a pizza delivered to my house for less money from the lockport location verses this location which makes no sensr as it is literally ten times closer than lockport. Also, I asked for a menu to take home and they had literally only one menu in the building. Menu with a coupon or two on it stapled to the box woulda been cool.”

“Got 3 torta dinners for my family Tuesday march 10 at 5:00-6pm the two ladies working register and cooking were extremely friendly great customer service and delicious food I can’t stress how great the food is for no only the price but actual authentic Mexican food which is hard to find in the burbs. Never would think my local spot would have fire tortas haven’t tried the tacos but I can imagine they are as delicious! Thank you my wife and daughter enjoyed the torta dinners as so did I.”

Very good variety of choices for drinks and desserts, I wish there was more choices for more filling meals though . I realize this is more of a dessert venue but since they do have some sandwiches, I feel a few more choices will not hurt. The fruits are always fresh and the preparation for products are in full view , you can see how clean and professional they work.”

“I'm a truck driver and I delivered a load to Joliet. After making my delivery, I parked at the Love's truck stop in Joliet. I was born in Chicago and spent my adolescent years in Berwyn/Cicero until my family moved to Florida when I was 13. It's been 35 years since I had Chicago pizza. I looked on line for pizza places near me and ultimately settled on Beggar's. I'm very glad I did! I ordered two pizzas so I would have plenty left over for the next couple of days. The pizzas were still straight out of the oven hot when I got them. Toppings were fresh and plentiful. Real sausage. Smothered in cheese. And the best of all, cut into squares. Thanks for the wonderful dinner and the trip down memory lane.”

The food was excellent as always, service was great - although, they usually are slammed, as in, every table is full from 4pm-7pm, get there early or get there later, because it is crazy at that time. All around great experience always”
