“If you are looking for a place to try great Mexican at, look no further! First and foremost, the staff is absolutely fantastic, they are so friendly and kind I have truly never had service like this. We do not live in the area, but that didn’t stop me from making the drive and finally stopping in last night. I had seen on reviews on local pages and heard all the rave about the Nachos, so many amazing reviews with pictures. I am a big Nacho person, I knew it would be worth the drive, and believe me it was!! The nachos are loaded, tasty, flavorful, fresh, giant, full, scrumptious. The chips were crispy, not soggy and the steak had so much flavor, the toppings were perfect, they did not skimp at all. I also ordered a side of guacamole when I walked in, which they made FRESH and I am not kidding when I say it was the most delicious guacamole I have ever had in my life!!! While waiting, the staff/manager came out to speak with me and thanked me for coming out this way since I’m not from the area, and it really was incredibly kind. I also had the opportunity to try the cantaloupe water, which I will say I was skeptical because I never had it before, but it was DELICIOUS, refreshing, I would order it again 100%. Everything from here was amazing, flavorful, FRESH! This place is a hidden gem, 10/10 recommend, if I could give more stars, I would!!”

“The food is amazing! Fresh, raw and delicious. Even my carnivore friend enjoyed everything. We had the nachos, cheese steak, cucumber boats and the turtle brownies. Entrees are served with green salad and an apple citrus salad. I took the Thai pizza and almond butter banana pie to go. The staff and owner are pleasant and attentive. I do not live nearby, but plan on returning.”

“I sincerely love this place.. I really fell in love with the pizza... I found this little gem.. and have not been disappointed since... They really have a huge menu and always have homemade soup. Everything is made fresh. They have stuffed cabbage. Pierogies, blintzes.. fresh sub sandwiches. Anything you can imagine they can actually make. I really love the owners, family owned and ran....”

Rolls with garlic, nice salads, Veal Piccatta over Angel Hair Pasta ? and desserts were Top Notch - can't wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: I have a nut allergy and our serving was very accommodating, going to kitchen to make sure it was nut free.”

“HALAL CERTIFIED I’m so happy I could find a taco place with no pork and food taste amazing and it’s really clean. I don’t eat out to often due to cross contamination with different meats but since they only sell beef and chicken products I can trust their food without thinking if I ate pork. I’m happy Lockport got a gem like this in my town for anyone can’t trust restaurants because of the cleanliness and quality of their food than this is the place”

“This restaurant was possible one of the best Mexican we have experienced. We travel a lot being from NW Indiana and bowling around the country pretty much. After many disappointments I can say that this was NOT a disappointment. We really enjoyed the service that we had received. Everyone was friendly with navigating the menu and everything in between. For being a mom and pop place is was exceeding expectations”

“Many different restaurants have occupied this building over the years, this is one that should be here for a long time, First and most important is the food is very good. Nice menu of Mexican food plus hamburgers and hot dogs are also on the menu. Beverages are mostly bottles and canned drinks, coffee and juice drinks are also available. Very small dinning room 16 seats 2 tables and some counter seats. Small but adequate parking. Street parking is allowed on 13th street on side opposite the building. There is no drive through window My visit was on a Friday evening. They were busy service was a little slower but not bad wait. Little out of the way of major streets but worth it”

“You have got to come here!!! The food was amazing! The nicest waitstaff! And huge portions! Im totally coming back every week. I got the lumberjack stack! The best biscuits and gravey ive ever had and the fried chicken was perfect!!!! And dang those pancakes were sooo good.”

“We've enjoyed Public Landing for years! We can always count on great food and great service in the loveliest atmosphere. The salmon with roasted vegies is exceptional. We like to try different menu items but may not be able to resist having the salmon regularly!!!”

“The kids and I really enjoy going here to dine inn. Bonus for us they have gluten-free options on pizza and pasta! The last time I was here, I had ordered a salad. The salad was enough for 3 servings and delicious. They have different drink specials on different days, i couldn't pass up a $5 frozen margarita! Always had friendly service.”

“My meal was delicious I had the Pad Wen Sen and a ice coffee. There isn’t much seating so ideally take would be easier but the man helping us was very nice. The sweet and sour wasn’t what we expected but it was still Good it had more of a bbq taste to it.”

“After hearing about this family owned brewery in downtown Lockport on the I'm Fat Podcast,I decided to give them a try .As soon as you enter you get greeted by the bartender . You go to the bar to order your beer. He was willing to answer any questions you might have or even give you a small sample to taste.They brew on site and offer about 12 different beers in 5,10 and 16 ounce pours.There were many regulars sitting at the bar and I noticed most of them had the 1853 Orange Creme Ale so I decided why not. I am glad I did! Delicious and refreshing with just the right amount of orange and vanilla.The only reason I gave them 4 stars is no food options are available unless you bring your own or order from one of the local establishments in the areaOpen daily with entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights,this is a real gem.”
