“This place was amazing! I went through door dash and was sent late plus no knock on the door that I asked for... found it and the order was wrong... the manager Bree was amazing and sent me a sandwich fixed for free...! You guys are awesome!“
“I went in today with my dad. The worker Sam was so nice! At first he didnt greet us, but about 10 min later he came out ot the back and started using slang. He said to me “Hey big boy whatcha want to eat, biggie” I figured all of this was slang for welcome in considering I wasnt a boy. I ignored it and gave him my order. Right after i started to speak my dad came out of the bathroom. I was immediately cut off by sam’s loud screams. He started to bark and just yell. I didnt know what was going on or what happened until sam, once again, starts screaming. This time though it seemed angry and scary. My dad was just as confused as me, especially when sam jumped in front of the counter and started spraying my dad with a water gun. They ran around Lockport from a whole 30 min. I soon see Sam come back into the store with a big happy smile. I look over in the window and see my dad waiting outside soaked. Sam asked my for my order once again and made it for me! It wasnt the best food but he did end up giving me a fun little rose toy perfect for family time!“
“Went at lunch time reluctantly thinking it would take a long time. Not at all. Had a detailed order for 4 people and it was perfect and fast. The lunch crew knows what they’re doing!!! I always love the food especially the grilled chicken salad. The kids love the loaded fries. ❤️“
“Decided to try this place for the first time ever after living out this way for over 20 years and disappointed in myself for not going sooner! Delicious half Greek chicken meal that took me by surprise! Absolutely juicy and flavorful! Would recommend to anyone! We have also tried the pizza puff and hamburger which didn’t disappoint either! The hamburgers are nice thin patties just the way I like so if you prefer a little more meat get a double patty! The staff is always pleasant and welcoming!“

“Only issue I had was they put the sauces on at the end so they're all sitting on top of the veggies and then ended up on the wrapper. One half of my sandwich was actually dry.Otherwise the sandwich was so good. Thank you Crest Hill location!“

“2024 update: chili cheese fries are still amazing but they're giving you a little less while charging a little more. Very sad because this used to be an amazing deal.Torpedo still goated sub, best there is. Feels bad spending like 15$ on the king size tho. Still love it.One time gf asked for chili cheese fries but they gave us normal fries. when she went back in to get an exchange the guy told her he doesn't remember her ordering chili cheese fries. In the end she still got the replacement but I wanted to include this. Still, I've had really friendly interactions here despite this. Id rate sub city a 3.5 out of 5.Review from 2020:Love the torpedo, always my go to sub. Chili cheese fries are so gud. Considering the price, burgers are pretty good. Like the Italian beef, friend enjoyed their gyros. Love this place, especially since this is basically the only food joint open late in the area“
