The tempura shrimp appetizer was outstanding. The Caeser salad could have been more than small pieces of romaine covered in Caeser's dressing. My filet was very tender but cooked more than medium rare. Husband's sirloin could have been a bit more tender. Sides were fine but overpriced. One side should come with the very expensive main protein. Had cabernet with dinner which was excellent. No room for dessert.”

“Yes, The Final Cut Is a Steakhouse, but their seafood and pasta dishes are amazing as well. I had the seafood pasta and my wife had the Scallops. Both were amazing and the portions were generous! This is our favorite restaurant. I’m sure over the years, we’ve been there over 25 times!

I asked for food, but no food was available. 2 pool tables, one dart machine, slot machines with a touch game, and iTunes. It was a small place with no table setting, only a bar, but it looked clean and cozy. The bartender seemed very relaxed.”

“Met some friends for the Cubs opening day game on one of several television screens. I ordered a half pound burger from Thayer Brothers which is next door. It was prepared perfectly paired with fries and some tasty chicken noodle soup. I was in the mood for a beer on tap and was told they have not had "on tap" for over two years due to the pandemic. I hope they get that situation remedied when I go back.”

“The Joliet location is under new ownership and it shows! The whole place has been deep cleaned, including the bathrooms - SO MUCH BETTER. The staff is courteous and helpful. The restaurant is run like a well-oiled machine. The owner is present and involved. The quality of the food is greatly improved. We had a relaxing and enjoyable dinner at Outback in Joliet for the first time in years. What a wonderful and refreshing change!”

I had the steak sandwich, which was excellent. The bread was soft and fresh, but still a bit crusty like a quality bread will have.

I ordered the chicken nuggets just to try them! They were good, did not disappoint.

Didn't order shakes or Mozzarella sticks, but will definitely be back to try

But neither is an issue that the quality and quantity of the food doesn't easily overcome!

“Did the 3 day cleanse. I was a little nervous before I started. Most cleanse tend to put you in the bathroom all day or are really harsh and taste terrible. This cleanse was the complete opposite. Easy on my stomach, everything tasted great (detox shot was strong but it was a small dose so it wasn't a problem) and I had the best sleep during those 3 days. I did the cleanse to reset my body. I had gotten into some bad eating habits that I needed to detox. I loved some of the juices so much that I'm ordering them for myself and my family to incorporate into our day. We stopped in here twice already just for a few drinks and a few appetizers the last 2 weeks on Sundays. Wanted to say a quick shout out and thank you to Amanda, our waitress and bartender. She's awesome!!!!

I had a few cold beers and my wife had some wine some wine. Then we ordered the fried zucchini sticks and the bruschetta. Both are completely amazing and very tasty. I highly recommend!!! I know this restaurant has been around for 40 years so I'm dying to try more! Looking forward to the pizza next!!!

“This place is great. I haven’t had bbq this good since I was a kid in the south. Most places around here miss the mark giving you dry flavorless meat or it’s good but portion size is weak for the price. Not here. I spend $30ish and get a proper plate of juicy tips and seasoned whole wings, chunky fries and hella sides. Service is old school, pop in place your order and wait 30-45, but it’s worth it. Be polite and don’t be a jerk, when you make something this good it takes a minute. Open Monday through Friday so stock up for the weekend. Yeah, it’s that good.

The photo shows 1/2 of the wrap because I couldn’t wait to dig in. The chicken is moist and very flavorful. Ms. Desiree was so sweet, she made me feel like family. She offered me and my husband a sample of the Obama tea, really good if you like sweet southern peach tea. I highly recommend. *Side note* The counter, kitchen and surrounding area was spotless.

You would swear you’re in a hot dog place, including the menus on the wall. There was a paper menu on counter for Machetes but I didn’t even see it when i walked in. Wasn’t an issue as we looked at menu online. Dont let the outside fool you either, the food was great and its super clean inside. Definitely a nice change from the typical tacos and burritos. Some very unique flavors.”
