Machetes Puebla is a hidden gem with a homey and comfortable atmosphere. The food is very delicious and the servings are quite big, so you won't leave hungry. The machetes are great, long, very well prepared, and will fill you up. Specific items like the tacos de pastor and the Alambre Machete are really tasty, with fresh ingredients, a freshly grilled tortilla, and fantastic salsa flavors. The salsas are each delicious with their own taste.
Every time, the service is top level. Customer service is excellent, with workers who are very welcoming and attentive. The place feels fresh under new ownership. There is plenty of parking and seating, offering dine-in as well.
A note for groups is that a higher percentage tip is added for groups of four or more. Overall, it is a really good experience and a place to return to explore more of the menu.
