I popped in this place for the first time just after leaving the library in joliet. Yes it was hot with door cracked one fan and yes there was tolerable bit of a wait time as would be with any newly starting establishment. The chicken, freshly baked biscuits, hot just right fries was well worth the wait. I will be back for sure even if I have to wait a bit because I know once he gets another cook to assist him and his son that Brown's Chicken location in time will grow by leaps...read full review
Good experience
Was in Joliet visiting on September 8th and decided to stop and check this place out because I've never had them before and I'm so glad I did. Got the 2pc dark with a biscuit and half of pound of chicken liver, everything was made fresh the chicken was well seasoned and the gizard was just as good, the biscuit reminded me of my mom's biscuits I'm mad I didn't get more but I'll definitely be back.
