The Great American Bagel in Joliet hit every mark. The bagels are excellent, fresh, soft, and delicious, and the cream cheese is soft, flavorful, and homemade. The Avacodo breakfast sandwich is next level, especially on a garlic bagel with chive cream cheese. The soups and chili are so good. The atmosphere is bright, clean, and inviting, and the place is run with pride. The owners brought it back, and customers are happy it opened again. The workers are nice, friendly, and patient, and they do not rush you to order. A party pack and coffees were warmed and ready on time, and they even helped load into the car. The coffee is weak with hardly any flavor, but a fresh cup of espresso made to order was offered. One customer felt rushed and paid over $16.00 for 4 bagels when 6 would have been about $11.00. Everything to eat is absolutely delicious.
