“Found this place while searching Google maps for a place to meet up with some family while I was in town. I am glad I found it! Fun place with great atmosphere, cool decor and awesome food! I had the venison back strap, my lady had the elk au jus. Both were cooked perfectly, very flavorful and the au jus came on the side with the elk. Mixed vegetables on both plates were really good!!! Had a fried onion blossom for an appetizer and it wasn't all oily feeling like alot of other places. HUGE selection of drinks, beer and shots. (It is a saloon mind you) I had an Old fashioned that was pretty good. We were able to sit at a booth where they serve your food through the wall which was pretty awesome. Only 2 small nit picks really, it is somewhat small inside so if you go with a large group sitting together might be a challenge. There are only 2 booths that do the serving through the wall. Overall it is a very cool place and we loved the old saloon decor and vibe inside. We definitely recommend trying them out and we will definitely come back again next time we are in town!“

“My cousin took me here for my birthday and I had a great time!! The bartender, Shelly, was the sweetest, nicest person ever! She was so helpful at picking drinks for me. I haven't been to very many bars and I really don't drink but she helped me pick out a couple really good drinks! The atmosphere and the other people drinking at the bar was so good. “The French fries I had, tasted so good. To some people body, they can't handle all of the body soak, that I can handle. Of seasoning or sauce. The restaurant had a promotion, then an exit of the old place, it use to be, before another taco place, or something I don't know. A great place.“

“Aaron the bartender is great! Thank you! So friendly, so kind. The drinks are super fun / cute, and I especially recommend the pina colada. The service is excellent, the vibe is very cute. Went on a Tuesday night around 9-10:30 - it was quiet which was nice, but livened up towards the end. The drinks could be a bit better which is why I gave 4 stars and not 5 - but I'll absolutely be back :)“

“TCBY is a great frozen yogurt restaurant for an amazing summer treat. The frozen yogurt here is quite tasty. You can put as many or as few toppings as you please. The staff here is friendly and helps you get your yogurt. They even have free sample cups to try any yogurt you want. The prices are expensive here for yogurt. This is a good establishment and I would recommend anyone to come here. Yummy!“

“Stopped by this interesting little brewery / taproom on a whim. Their beer is good, the service was good. Apparently they have food trucks but I had already had lunch. I grabbed some carryout beer to try the brews I didn't try while I was there.“

“We ordered the catfish fillet dinner and buffalo wings dinner. A side of okra and hush puppies were added. Everything was served fresh and hot and seasoned just right. I learned that lemon pepper is the perfect seasoning here. The restaurant has been here for 25 years and the menu shows it lol. Customer service is great.“

The mood was set immediately by the gracious greeting from a charming young lady with red hair. The service was fantastic, and a friendly waitress promptly took my order. I tried the Duck Fat wings, which were delicious; the rich flavors from the bird's juices were incredible. Any respectable pizza place should serve a good Margherita pizza, and theirs was no exception. The Margherita pizza was delicious with a crispy, well-leavened crust cooked quickly in their woodfire oven. The sauce had a slight bitterness, which I particularly enjoyed. Topped with fresh basil leaves and Parmesan, it was the perfect touch. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and would recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an easy and delicious escape in the bustling Chicago area.“

“Great vibes inside! Seems the perfect place to do work or meet with friends. Plenty of seating and free wifi. I got the cookie butter Chai with espresso and it was delicious!! Very smooth and creamy. I also ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant which hit the spot! They also have a rewards plan where you earn 1 point for every dollar spent. After 50 points, you get a $5 discount. I will definitely be coming back!“

“I'm not sure how they heard about it, but one of the first things our grandchildren from California and Connecticut inquired about when they arrived for a summer visit was: "Can we go to the Forge?" Located at 1001 Main Street in southwest suburban Lemont, off I-55, The Forge: Lemont Quarries Adventure Park is what Riverview Park was to my generation before it closed in 1967. Today, The Forge is comparable to and competitive with Six Flags of America, Raging Rivers, Centennial Water Park, Chicago in Illinois and Santa's Village. Opened in July 2020. it covers 300 acres with ziplines, ropes courses, climbing towers and walls, bouldering areas, fishing, paddleboating, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking trails and other outdoor activities. The ropes course is the tallest in North America at over 120 feet. The park also features adventure dining, a beer garden, an event venue and summer camps. Interestingly, it was built on disused industrial land and flooded former Lemont dolomite quarries that straddle the Illinois and Michigan Canal National Heritage area and abut the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal. The Forge Quarry, the Great Lakes Quarries and the I&M Canal are utilized as water features. Remember the Bobs, The Comet and Aladdin's Castle at Riverview? And the slogan: "Laugh your troubles away?" The Forge's slogan is "Endless fun for everyone." As 81-year-old retirees, we aren't into ziplining. But watching our grandchildren enjoy one activity after another is fun enough.“

The young lady Rachel assisted me with a smile and gave me well service. I was hesitant at first to buy a dozen cupcakes due to the price, but in the end, every bite was worth it. 5/5 would come again!“
