“My teenage daughter had been wanting to try Dave’s Hot Chicken for a while, so I finally took her, her friend, my son, and his friend.

I was pleasantly surprised! The chicken was well-seasoned, flavorful, and the quality was very good—comparable to Chick-fil-A in quality, but with its own unique taste. The chicken sandwich had a generous portion, with plenty of chicken extending beyond the bun.

The standard sauces were good, especially the mayo-based sauce. We also tried the Hot Honey sauce. It had great flavor, but it wasn’t very spicy. If you like heat, you’ll probably need something spicier. Just keep in mind that some specialty sauces come with an additional charge.

The restaurant was fairly clean, had a steady flow of customers, and the service was good.

The only downside for me was the price. The food was tasty, but I felt it was a bit overpriced, which is why I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars. Overall, it was a good experience, and I wouldn’t mind going back.“

“Yesterday I took the Sourdough Breadmaking Class with Chef George at The Ancestral Oven and I just pulled an amazing loaf of bread out of my home oven 24 hours later! Chef George provided all the necessary instruction and supplies - including a lively starter - for students to start their own sourdough journey at home. The class included hands-on experience feeding the starter, as well as folding and shaping the dough. I had a great time at the class and can't wait to return to try out the breakfast and lunch menu at The Ancestral Oven Bakery and Cafe.“

“I judge breakfast spots by their staff and their oatmeal. Louie's wait staff are amazing. They're friendly, fast, and have never made a mistake on an order. Louie also has the BEST oatmeal in all of Chicago! I don't know what all the ingredients are, but it makes magic out of oatmeal!“

“We held a celebration of life for my brother here today. About 50 in attendance in the stylish, comfortable upstairs area. Despite the fact that I planned this from 400 miles away and without having ever seen the venue, it went off without a hitch due to Mr. David Candiotti and his staff. No surprises. Everything was as promised. The venue is extremely stylish and rustic. Food was delicious and plentiful as were the drinks. Service was fast, efficient and friendly thanks to Mona, Alberto and Olena. The staff is really nice, took our drink order right away (coffee and waters) and then our food order soon after. I loved my endless cup of coffee and banana crepes. One person ordered chiquillas, which looked great. We added meat sides later, which came right away. The bill was totally reasonable (no separate checks tho, FYI), and everyone left full and happy.“

“I been to this place over a few times and I never been disappointed, and they opened this new location in Orland park. When you walk in the atmosphere automatically hits you full of warm white marble and brown coffee colors. The place is very clean and awesome for studying because they have mini study pods!!! So enjoy your coffee and study effortlessly. As for when I order, every staff member there is wonderful. Patient, attentive, and swift. I had ordered a new item called the cream cheese cinnamon bun!! It was mouth watering (10/10 must try again) and amazing iced coffee!! So with that being said definitely stop by this location.“

You are always greeted with a smiling face and the smells alone will keep you coming back for more. The pizza here is consistently incredible. Perfectly thin crust, just the right amount of sauce, and loaded with toppings that can fit any craving. With the number of years, I have been visiting, I have tried almost everything on the menu from their pizza to their pastas to their appetizers and I keep on going back. I have even hosted parties that have said the same. Not often you find a place that keeps tradition alive with the highest quality, but Vinces makes it happen every day. See everyone soon. “Back when I lived in the area, Irish Times had just opened and I stopped in to have a Guinness. Now, I have had Guinness all over the Chicago area and never has a Chicago pint ever approached the magical, otherworldly flavor of a pint consumed in Ireland. I don't know if it's the water, the proximity to the brewery or just some kind of strange magic that happens to Guinness in Ireland, but I've never had better. That all changed when I drank that first pint at Irish Times. It was easily the best pint of Guinness I've had outside the Emerald Isle. I've since left the area and have had pints all over the United States and Canada. Nothing has approached the quality, freshness and taste of the Guinness at Irish Times in Brookfield. If you are lucky enough to be nearby, don't hesitate to make a detour to the pub. You will not regret it.“

The bartender Richard was a bit overwhelmed, after talking to him we found out it was his first night! I have to say he did a great job, very attentive, professional, and held his own. Over all the atmosphere, service, drink prices, and hospitality was by far on point. I highly recommend this spot.“
