“First off, I absolutely love Hawaiian pizza, but finding a good one in Chicago has been tough. This weekend, during our adventure, we stumbled upon a pizza place with reasonable prices and a great menu. We ordered a Hawaiian BBQ pizza, but were surprised to find no pineapple chunks when we opened the box. Instead, they had blended the pineapple into the sauce, creating a deliciously unique flavor. As someone who is lactose intolerant, I'm always cautious about cheese quality since it can make me quite gassy. Luckily, this pizza didn't cause me any discomfort and paired perfectly with the beer we had. It really made our weekend special. Definitely give it a try if you have the chance!”

“Beautiful Easter buffet, food was continually be replenished, everything was hot and delicious. So much variety, I can't think of anything else I could have added. Was alittle crowded where the food was set up, but it moved quickly. Children ran in and out of the patio doors making it cold inside, but that was on the parents not the restaurant. Overall a very nice experience. And the staff was wonderful.”

“I thought the food was fantastic and will definitely be back . Slightly expensive but well worth it . Loved everything i ate. I ate the chicken Marsala , perfectly cooked just excellent. My husband had lasagna that was delicious.”

“Really cool place. My kids and I enjoy any and everything paranormal, and when we heard about this place we decided to take a trip. The bartender was awesome, telling us some stories of her paranormal experiences, and gave us some history of the place. Then some patrons were at the bar and one came over and told us some more. Very nice people. Ordered the Calamari, Chicken Tacos, Legend burger, and Mushroom Swiss burger. All Amazing, my daughter who is the pickiest eater of them all loved the chicken tacos. Burgers were prepared perfectly and were absolutely amazing. Calamari was also very good, just wish the portion was bigger for the price (photo attached is after we started eating some). I’m not a big beer drinker but I ordered the Maplewood Krispie Cakes on tap, and I might come back just for the beer alone. All in all, amazing experience, wonderful service, and we will be back for the ghost tours around spooky season.”

“This cafe is really one of a kind. The decor and ambiance is really welcoming, I could be in here forever. It feels like I've been transported to the set of a rainy indie film. Both times I've gone, I've spoken to Ava. Ava remembered me after the first time (which was two weeks prior), which felt really sweet. I usually hate being a regular, but at a place like Ashbary, I don't mind being recognized and taken care of :) My partner and I had plenty of sweets (which were all delicious), and the drinks were quite good. I had one of the Valentine's Day specials, and they had a house coffee. Both are really great, enough to come back. This place is out of the way for me, so I couldn't come here often logistically, but it is definitely worth the drive. I love it here!!”

“My guy and I dined there last night and I can only say that every aspect of this visit was, on a scale from 1 to 5, a 10. Atmosphere, service, cleanliness, promptly being seated AND served with a reservation, courteous waitstaff, and last but not least...every dish we tasted was superbly plated and tasted amazing. We had the restaurant week special with 3 entrees. We chose the pot roast, blackened salmon w/creamed spinach, honey chicken with fried pound cake, short ribs /mashed potatoes, shrimp n grits. Well done! We will be coming back!”

“Was in the neighborhood and I stopped by. Italian beef sandwich is amazing. Loaded with beef. Only thing that happened was that I ordered an Italian combo and I got just a regular Italian beef. Giardiniera was not spicy at all and I do like spicy. Otherwise, will probably be back.Parking: There is a parking lot on the side of the building.”

“I had the pork chop cooked medium well with broccolini. The chop was moist and flavorful with an apple/raisin sauce. Very good. Broccolini was fresh and crisp. I also had the Red Head cocktail; much like a Cosmopolitan. Very good with just enough vodka. Topped it off with brownie sundae. Definitely will be back. Highly recommended.”

“I lived to Justice in 1977 and discovered Weber's Bakery. I was a young manager and felt it important to have coffee cake and coffee at my team meetings. I've lived in the Beverly community for decades and been retired for five years. However, I still travel to Weber's for their Cherry Cheese Coffee Cake, Chocolate Cake donuts and the Banana Split Torte, I woke with Weber's on my mind so I'm about to make my run to get all three. I'll share with my neighbors because I can't eat all of that. It's a great day for all!”

“The staff here is sooooooo welcoming they are very attentive. I've never had an issue with coming here and I always give them complicated ordered and they fulfill it( allergies)!!!! This is my favorite spot and hospitality is what brings it all together. The food here is better than my sister in laws home cooked meals!(sorry ?). But I highly recommend!!”

“We’ve been to Marco’s a few times and have enjoyed our experiences. There is always a wide variety of thoughtfully prepared options to choose from in all categories, land and sea appetizers, entrees, several salads and desserts. Last night we had the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer which was delicious, the mahi mahi and shrimp with a delicious coconut based sauce. The strip steak was cooked perfectly and came with some lovely crisp veggies; unfortunately the steak was tough and almost stringy. The server asked if there was anything else I’d like which felt like the right thing to do. The servers are efficient but generally not warm and fuzzy. And the environment is very loud. Anyone with hearing issues wouldn’t be able to hear anyone else at their table without that person raising their voice considerably.”
