“I love The Forge! My friend and I went here to see Everclear perform and had a blast. They had food trucks and we decided to get the donuts from one of them. So tasty! There is so much to do here. You can rent kayaks, canoes, bikes, go ziplining (day and night), climbing activities, walk the paths and enjoy the beautiful scenery, food options, etc. We even saw a beaver while making our way to the entrance. I absolutely love this place and would reccomend anyone to check it out. They have so many outside adventures to choose from. Go check it out if you haven't already! You won't be disappointed. Thank you The Forge Lemont Quarries for hosting Everclear and providing an amazing event space and experience for us!“
“We went for one of their outdoor igloo experiences. The price was good for 6 of us. The igloo was warm and was decorated in Barbie themed which my daughter was super excited about. The appetizers and food was delicious and our server was fantastic. Overall would recommend!Kid-friendliness: They had kids menus and coloring. My kids enjoyed the whole thing. On Tuesdays they usually have a kids eat free event“
“I was recommended this place by my coworkers and this is honestly the best chicken I’ve ever had at a restaurant in many many many years. Food is cheap, atmosphere is friendly, owner is super nice, they even have a selection of mild to spicy sauces that’s huge and some of them they even made themselves. That Yummi sauce sure is Yummy. Give this place a shot you won’t be disappointed.“
“Absolutely fantastic first time experience at D’Capos! I ordered the meatball sub and the owner gave me a free sample, of course it was excellent. The owner also took time to chat with me about the business and even gave me a free to go meal, eggplant parm. Couldn’t recommend this establishment more, incredible food and the owner is so kind and welcoming. 10/10!“
“The food met or exceeded everyone's expectations. Our server, Brooke, and her assistants were terrific: pleasant, patient, and attentive. The restaurant was full/noisy and the host did his best to accommodate us with a quiet location, a request we made through the app because of the hearing disability of my husband who is a Vietnam Veteran. The volume of the restaurant was still too loud for him: even with hearing aids conversing across a table that could have accommodated eight when we turned out to be only five was challenging, but the window location was the best option and we appreciated that the host did his best. I'm pointing out this situation because it is difficult to find a restaurant that ticks all the boxes: good food, good value, and good conversational ambience. Surely it is a plus that Neat did their best.“
“Great selection! My husband and I love dropping in and picking up one of the craft beers to take home. We're really happy to be able to pick up one can at a time instead of a full pack which allows us to try to many more flavors that we otherwise wouldn't.Definitely a unique store and worth dropping in!“
“Found out about this brewery in Westmont and came to try a few beers. It's in a pretty hard to find location in some industrial area, the worst thing about it. Whiskey Hill is a funny name, as this place has beer, not whiskey. Oh well, what they have is still good. There's a pretty good selection including some hoppy and sours. A lot of breweries are in kind of strange areas. It's the case with this one. This is located on Vandustrial in a building it share with some offices and whatever. Lots of trucking companies around here. There's semis parked along the street. Anyway, the beers. It's about $6 a pour. It's not quite a pint but whatever. Even so, a pretty good price for a small brewery. Has many to choose from. Best was the 7 Mile Bridge. It's a Belgian Weisse with key lime, toasted coconut, and vanilla. A lot of lime flavor. This is almost like a sour to be honest. A pretty strong one at 7% ABV. There's not a whole lot on tap, but they manage to have quite a bit for a microbrewery to be honest. Get some beers on tap or take some of the cans to go. It's a small place but when it's warmer they have a patio. There's no food but sometimes there's food trucks.“
“A HUGE variety of food in here. Of course, cheesecake is their specialty and the strawberry cheescake was fire. Pretty darn good in the jolly ol La Grange pals! Stopped by with my sis after good ol' Mak's house right around the corner“
“Loved the service and food. It is a very small cozy location, although I was told they will be moving across the street and expanding their seating. The staff was fantastic, I was there with my wife and baby and they were all very friendly. We will definitely be back.“
“We stopped at Pierce Tavern for lunch and had a great experience! The service was great throughout our visit and the wait staff were very attentive and friendly. A gentleman even came around with a beer tasting! The food was all delicious, we tried the cauliflower bites app, salad with goat cheese and brisket grilled cheese. Everything was so good! They have a large selection of cocktails, all which sound delicious, and a very extensive menu. It’s a fun place to stop at for drinks, dinner or lunch. We were very happy with our experience! Will definitely be back.“
“Took my wife on a date night and this couldn't have been a better place to go. Walking in it immediately takes you to France, the artwork, decor, music, even wait staff attire, and the seating made you feel like you were in a cafe down the street from the Louvre! Service was very timely, while never feeling rushed, immediately feeling welcomed. Meal was perfect! Tons of flavors while able to finish the whole meal being portioned respectfully with room for dessert! Can't wait to go back and hear their story!“
“Beautiful experience! You could tell they love what they do, and they love sharing their artistry. Amazing coffee, so well paired and thought out. Better than any other coffee place I’ve been to. They offer a personal experience with suggestions, and exceeding expectations service. Lovely lovely place, will ONLY be going here from now on “
“I've come here a few times. This brewery is a little tricky to find since it's located by warehouses. They have a pretty cool logo and the name is super interesting with a backstory. I liked certain beers over others; but the nice thing is they have lots of options. You could bring food and they have games like darts, board games and card games and shuffle board. And best part.... It's dog friendly! Just careful because it gets crowded and it's not really big“
“Great bottle shop with a bar that's conveniently located in a strip mall near 355 and down the street from the downtown area. Excellent draft selection and cocktails, you will always find something that you like.Stopped in to celebrate 2 years of being open! Sleepy Bear was delicious.“
“Always easy-going bartenders with lots of local craft beers on tap, plus a good selection of bottle and cans. Ciders and NA beers as well. Bartenders will give you a taster before you buy a 5 or 12 oz pour. Customers friendly too, sit right at the bar or outside at tables under umbrellas and strike up a conversation. Board games are available inside. Seen beer drinking parents bring their little kids sometimes. You can bring your well-mannered dog inside too.“
“This was my first time trying this place and I was greeted by a very nice woman who explained to me it was cash only which was fine. I'm glad I had it on me because my family was craving pizza. They didn't have slices because business is slow but no problem. I was ready to order a whole pizza then. It was absolutely amazing! My 10 year old LOVED IT!! The sauce was so delicious and the pizza was cooked perfectly with a crisp! Definitely will go back and order again. I thought this establishment deserved to know how much we enjoyed it so I gave her a call to tell her. I'm sure it's not everyday that an establishment received personal feedback and I believe it does something to the soul to make someone's day. Thank you Pizzeria At The Point! We will be back!“
“Hands down Juan makes the best tacos in the area!!!! He is phenomenal at his craft! And can’t beat bingo on Tuesday’s if you are craving tacos! Or any food for that matter, literally everything I’ve ordered from here the two years I’ve lived in lisle whether take out or dine in has been incredible!Highly recommend this family owned hot spot for great food, good drinks and awesome community!“
“If you want good lagers poured the right way, come here. Everything they make is great, and while it's a small menu, typically only 5 beers on tap, it's enough of a variety imo if their focus is on quality, which is seems to be. Whenever I come into Chicago, I make the pilgrimage to the berbs to visit Goldfinger.“
“A cute place! The guy who was working made my boyfriends and my experience so much more enjoyable. He had a smile on his face and was very kind! The coffee and muffin were delicious and the shop is very chill :) we found a new Sunday morning coffee shop stop!“
“They always take the time to make everything so good! Favorite spot for ice-cream in Dowers. The waffles are also outstanding. Highly recommend getting the ice cream and waffle combos they are all so good.Vegetarian options: 2 or 3 Vegan OptionsDietary restrictions: Vegan options“
“Had a mango beer that was pretty good. Enjoyed choosing music with the touch tunes. Nice pool tables even though we didn't play. All in all an above average watering hole located right on Ogden a stones throw from where I'm currently staying.“
“Always enjoy your place ! Our go to when visiting our children and grandchildren in Lemont ! Food is always great and the service is top notch and super friendly! We don’t even consider stopping anywhere else because I would end up there getting my fav meatloaf dinner for the ride home anyway ?❤️❤️❤️Kid-friendliness: They treat my granddaughter like the the princess she is and they call you by name“
