“I'm a truck driver and I delivered a load to Joliet. After making my delivery, I parked at the Love's truck stop in Joliet. I was born in Chicago and spent my adolescent years in Berwyn/Cicero until my family moved to Florida when I was 13. It's been 35 years since I had Chicago pizza. I looked on line for pizza places near me and ultimately settled on Beggar's. I'm very glad I did! I ordered two pizzas so I would have plenty left over for the next couple of days. The pizzas were still straight out of the oven hot when I got them. Toppings were fresh and plentiful. Real sausage. Smothered in cheese. And the best of all, cut into squares. Thanks for the wonderful dinner and the trip down memory lane.“

“We’ve lived in the area for over 8 years and finally stopped here for dinner. The food was delicious - huge portions, the specials include soup and salad and the amazing service from Paulette was absolutely wonderful. I had the ribs - yummy and they fall off the bone. My husband had the chicken Alfredo. He loved it and the portion was huge! Great bang for the buck too. Beer and wine only but that’s all we needed.“

“I’ve had a taste for a Beggars pizza for a long time now. We stopped on our way home back from the Field Museum and glad we did. Only thing is the appetizer could have came with a few more of each item. The pizza was absolutely amazing like always. We ordered a family size sausage and green pepper well done. It came out screaming hot. Taste was awesome. Lots of everything and a nice thick crust. I you like a nice thick pizza with tons of toppings this is definitely for you. Service was good too and everything came out in a timely fashion. Definitely a must try if you haven’t before!“

“I have been coming to this location for years. Most of the items I have tried have been decent. Seems recently that the $5.00 pizza deal has been getting skimpy on ingredients. In the past there was noticeable sauce and meat on the slices. Stopped in there last night to get the deal, the pizza was dry and there was hardly any sausage on the slices.“

Taylor was great to work with setting everything up for the party and Cara was phenomenal at the party ensuring all of our 40+ guests had a drink in their hand and full plates! “Good food here. I like the pizzas for their price vs topping amounts. Freshly prepped veggies, decent amount of meat, and they use red onion instead of white onion (much better imo). Regularly run specials and if you don't like their regular pizzas, they do have a build your own that's a decent price.“

“Really liked the pizza here, so did my daughter. Really crispy crust, I liked the sauce a lot too. Price was pretty good. My only gripes were that I could get a pizza delivered to my house for less money from the lockport location verses this location which makes no sensr as it is literally ten times closer than lockport. Also, I asked for a menu to take home and they had literally only one menu in the building. Menu with a coupon or two on it stapled to the box woulda been cool.“
