“My husband and I were visiting from Las Vegas. Even though we have a Giordano’s in LV, it tastes so much better in IL. I had originally made an online order (stuffed pizza) but realized I ordered just cheese and forgot to add sausage. How can you order a Giordano's stuffed pizza without sausage?? SMH. When I went inside to pick up our order, I had spoken with Mistie. I had explained to her my mistake and she informed me that I would have to purchase another pizza with sausage. I told her that it was my mistake and that was not a problem. Michele (manager) was also there and when I mentioned we were from LV, she said “you know we have a location in LV?” We mentioned we tried it there before but it never tastes the same. She stated it’s because of the water and climate. Which made perfect sense. Plus we were also bringing home a pizza for a friend, so wanted it to be correct. My husband had noticed that they had a freezer of frozen stuffed pizza and we had asked Mistie if she would recommend those over a fresh pizza. She mentioned that she would get someone from the back to answer that question. She and a gentleman by the name of Odis came back to the front. We had explained to him that we were going to bring the pizza home with us (to Las Vegas) and asked if a fresh pizza or a frozen one would be best, since we would have to freeze the fresh one anyways. Odis was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful advising that in our case it would be best to take home a frozen one (as they are made in IL) so it would taste the same as the fresh. Also, it would protect from any airborne illness (since the frozen one was already sealed.) Glad we had asked, as it made our decision easier and got the frozen. Odis definitely made our experience more enjoyable. Thank you so much for your generosity, Odis. We can’t thank you enough for turning my original mistake into something so much more memorable. When we are in town again, we will come visit this location again.“

“Everything is great here, but I have one issue. Can you please refinish the seats of your chairs. Either they’re sticky from not being cleaned properly or it’s the finish itself that is deteriorating and is somehow becoming sticky. The other day when I was leaving, the fabric of my shorts stuck to the chair as if it was Velcro. It just gave me this like gross feeling as if it has never been cleaned. I’m trying to give the benefit of the doubt and bring it to your attention so you can address the situation.“

So garlicy in the outside and gooey cheese on the inside. The staff is so friendly, the food is so delicious. Highly recommend trying to get a booth if you can! It's a whole different experience eating in their booth(although the table doesn't change the yummy food).“

“It's 7:53pm on a Monday night and something so unexpected just happened. I just dropped a friend off at the Joliet train station and decided to grab dinner on the way home. I stopped at a small place which I almost passed up called The Big Chill in Joliet IL. I took a few moments to look at the reviews and decided I wanted to try the meatball sandwich which was top rated. I ordered the sandwich with a side of sauce because I like everything extra saucy. I bit into this sandwich and was so delighted. The bread was crispy and buttery almost like garlic bread. The meatballs had sooo much flavor. No pre made meatballs here you can tell these are freshly made. Next, I dipped my sandwich in the marinara sauce and please know that I have had a glimpse of heaven!! Lastly the stretch of the melted cheese which I assume is Provolone, elevated my experience even more. This was just soo good! I will be back and I almost hate that this place is so close to where I live because I've been trying to un-big my back and this sandwich is totally dangerous to that goal. So please do yourself a favor and stop here for a meatball sandwich If you're ever in the area, thank me later. I may do another review soon with pics. I wasn't expecting this to be so good so I didn't take pics.“

“I absolutely love this pizza.This place is near my job in Joliet and they are always ordering from here, and I get so excited when they do!I love Chicago pizza but admittedly love NYC pizza too and this pizza makes me feel like it is a perfect blend of both!I've only had the thin crust here with sausage, pepperoni, vegetables etc. on various pizzas but the sauce is better than Aurelio's in my opinion and I love the seasoning that you can smell before you taste it, as well as the crispy crust.“

Hang up. I call back again. A girl answers and again I state that I want a pizza for delivery. Response: We aren't taking any more orders. I say OK thanks fr letting me know, and this is a better response than the guy hanging up on me. At this point she says nothing and just hangs up. That is a bs response and way to deal with cuatomers. I used to deliver for Gino's East back in the day and you make your bones on New Year's because everyone is drunk and hungry and you make great tips. Crap service from ordinarily a good place. Managers need to take charge.“
