“I myself an a Ruben connoisseur, so if you like Ruben’s this is the place. The fried pickles, delicious, the loaded potato skins iconic. We got the food to go, we walked in and the food came out. Got home opened the food up and it was so beautiful. Eating this Ruben had to be the best thing ever. Also it was Saint Patrick day and this will be a new yearly tradition. But I probally need this sandwich at least once a month. The bartender on duty was beautiful and sweet. For a little place in the neighborhood I can’t believe it was this delicious. If you don’t live in crest hill it’s worth the trip. 100/10 would recommend“
“Absolutely great service. I did not get the names of the bartender who playfully and joyfully tended everyone who was present; included patrons were a young service member in BDU's and his father, some regulars discussing trips to Louisiana, a birthday party, myself and my sister. The service was amazing, and the gentleman behind the bar was very kind. I'm from out of state, and being able to just walk in and have friendly conversation (The patrons are great too!) and join in the karaoke in the evening was fantastic. I'm staying a while in Joliet and my 'night out' is always Karaoke! The system the KJ had was phenomenal, as well. Five stars. Felt like home. Thank goodness for the MidWest. I love this bar, and will be back again and again.“

“Went there for a surprise party for my wife. I’m a local guy with local friends and this place worked out perfectly. The management was on point and made us feel special. It was a beautiful ambience, soft music and we were able to enjoy conversation. It’s also an intimate experience. This is one of a kind in the area. Is it the good food? Yes! Is it the friendly, but professional service? Yes! “The pizza was great. We brought a1 1/2 yr old along and everything went great. Service was very good. Beer selection was pretty good too, easy for anyone to find something to drink. “Entertaining. I often go there when i work night shift for outages at Citgo. Ritchies has awesome Bloodys. Conversations are lively and they serve popcorn. Cheap entertainment at the bar. I also never say anything inflammatory or try to judge. Hey! Youre at a bar. People are out to relax and get things off their chest. Why try to judge? I just laugh or say neutral things. Its safer to stay in your own lane. I must say Uncle Ritchies is a good bar to stop. Mostly locals, but the barkeeps will take care of you. You wont feel ignored. Do stop!“
“The Wait staff and bartenders are friendly. Just don't go for the fish fry if you are hungry and don't have a bunch of time to wait. After 1.5 hours and several promises, I finally got the truth, I'm not getting food. After a couple more struggles they repayed me. I've had the fish in the past and it is very good. Just way to disorganized and unprepared for the crowds they get. They need a better system in place. I'll give it another shot but will go right when they open for hopefully better results.“

“Stopped in to see some bands last night. The owner remembered me from my chemo party I had there 6 years ago. He is a great host. One bartender refused to let us order food even though kitchen was still open another hour. I noticed the cook and asked him, he said put in an order. Went to different bartender and she put in our order. The owner then came and brought us some delicious pickle spear fries. Good night!“
