“Went there for a surprise party for my wife. I’m a local guy with local friends and this place worked out perfectly. The management was on point and made us feel special. It was a beautiful ambience, soft music and we were able to enjoy conversation. It’s also an intimate experience. This is one of a kind in the area. “jackie's is a great classic pub. good ambiance, cheap beer, and free popcorn. i needed a nonalcoholic drink option and they pulled through with a can of root beer and were even so kind as to offer me a cup of ice to go with it. they also have one of those fun digital juke boxes that you can pay to play songs on“

“It was a fun experience, no live band but the football game was great. Food was incredibly greasy and salty so I didn't love that. The service took a while but it was because of the game so a lot of people were here. Overall it was pretty decent.“

“Excellent adult beverages, prepared expertly by Michelle. I highly recommend the $2 early bird specials. I enjoyed her dirty gin martini, stirred, not shaken to avoid too much dilution. Michelle attracts an intelligent, well mannered soft spoken clientele. Check it out for yourself soon.“

“The Wait staff and bartenders are friendly. Just don't go for the fish fry if you are hungry and don't have a bunch of time to wait. After 1.5 hours and several promises, I finally got the truth, I'm not getting food. After a couple more struggles they repayed me. I've had the fish in the past and it is very good. Just way to disorganized and unprepared for the crowds they get. They need a better system in place. I'll give it another shot but will go right when they open for hopefully better results.“

“Entertaining. I often go there when i work night shift for outages at Citgo. Ritchies has awesome Bloodys. Conversations are lively and they serve popcorn. Cheap entertainment at the bar. I also never say anything inflammatory or try to judge. Hey! Youre at a bar. People are out to relax and get things off their chest. Why try to judge? I just laugh or say neutral things. Its safer to stay in your own lane. I must say Uncle Ritchies is a good bar to stop. Mostly locals, but the barkeeps will take care of you. You wont feel ignored. Do stop!“

“I truly recommend the steak, I’ve gone to Morton’s Streakhouse and the steak here is amazing, it’s as if you’re at a high end steakhouse.Great big portions for leftovers for later or next day for lunch. The pastas are amazing as well.Parking: If you don’t find parking in the front or the side there’s a parking lot that is a good 3 minute walk that’s free parking.Kid-friendliness: My kids are 14 and 11 so not small anymore. They loved the food selection.“

“Stopped in to see some bands last night. The owner remembered me from my chemo party I had there 6 years ago. He is a great host. One bartender refused to let us order food even though kitchen was still open another hour. I noticed the cook and asked him, he said put in an order. Went to different bartender and she put in our order. The owner then came and brought us some delicious pickle spear fries. Good night!“

“My personal favorite place to go. Close to home friendly people and the drinks are average. It's a nice older bar and the locals visit here daily, but are always willing to welcome a new-comer. They do not offer food, but the attached Pizza place opens at 3:00 pm and has a great pizza and offers fast food.“

“That's always, this is my favorite bar in the Joliet area. They home make their pizzas and have sliders available. During St Patrick's Day time they also make really, really good corned beef. The alcohol prices are good and the staff is really nice. Mary is my favorite!And if it means anything to you, it is a woman owned and operated business!“
