“I got the buffalo ranch chicken sandwich and it was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had had. My friend, though, got the chicken tenders and they were so tough. Had to use two hands to bite through it. Otherwise everything was delicious and clean.“

“I remember you Laura. You and your partner walked in while we were super busy. Maybe you didn't notice our heads down in the well making cocktail after cocktail after cocktail for the numerous satisfied guests. Each cocktail takes several minutes to construct. Our other guests seemed fine with the wait. While you seem more content with being a keyboard warrior. Service is something we take great pride in Laura, your lack of patience could really use some work. Oh, the elevator situated right next to the stairs may have helped get you up and down, sorry you didn't see it.“

“This is a standard biker destination. Great place to pull over and relax with a cold drink. Very friendly staff, great view of the river and all the passing river traffic from the outdoor deck. I come here wherever I'm out that way.“

“I loved it! Its in a corner spot was able to find parking! Gypsy was our bartender she made some awesome drinks! small spot but theres a lot to do you can sit at the bar or at a table! food truck outside has delicious tacos

“Low key bar, not a big place but cozy. They have slot machines but no pool tables ? Bartender was very attentive to our needs and came over to chat while I was playing my favorite slot machine, she also enjoyed playing the same game. I know this is random but the Women's bathroom door was the cutest ever. Outside looks like a small cramped but nope. It was surprisingly big and clean“
“Aaron the bartender is great! Thank you! So friendly, so kind. The drinks are super fun / cute, and I especially recommend the pina colada. The service is excellent, the vibe is very cute. Went on a Tuesday night around 9-10:30 - it was quiet which was nice, but livened up towards the end. The drinks could be a bit better which is why I gave 4 stars and not 5 - but I'll absolutely be back :)“

“I stopped in and had a few drinks. The bartender was friendly, not a vast selection of hard alcohol, but they had the regular stuff. I asked for food, but no food was available. 2 pool tables, one dart machine, slot machines with a touch game, and iTunes. It was a small place with no table setting, only a bar, but it looked clean and cozy. The bartender seemed very relaxed.“

“Was in Joliet and happened upon this bar and decided to stop. Best decision ever !!! The Bloody Mary’s are one of the best I’ve ever had and at a reasonable price ! They also had a nice choice of craft beers and a very welcoming bartender! We plan on stopping by every time we are in town !!!“

“I liked it, nice clean facility. Nice big bar area, the grill was clean and the lady cook was very nice, i asked for my amburger in a special way and she accommodated me. My oakbrook OTB is my favorite, been going there for years, but nice to try someplace different. Hawthorne club is a great get away to relax and have fun.“
“The new owners are great- very nice, ensured customers were all taken care of and happy to get to know and talk to everyone. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, but also fun and upbeat! Staff is attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Great food and drink specials throughout the week. Definitely would reccomend checking this place out!“

“Ummmmm, I do not remember being here. I must have had one hell of a time because I do not remember being here at all. I do not drink too often, so if I was here and did drink, that would explain a lot.I guess I had a great time. I hope I did not cause any trouble. If I did, I apologize. It's those dang Coronas and tequila mixers that do it every time!I hope I kept my clothes on and did not swing from any chandeliers upside down naked.If I did, I made it home safe, and thank you for not calling the police on me. “I didn't know Robert had a location in Plainfield. Was great service, staff was very polite and very friendly... food was outstanding & delicious, family & I definitely will be back .... by far the best Italian restaurants Plainfield and his sisters Donna's place in Palos heights.... The desert Tiramisu homemade was omg delicious I could of eaten 2 more servings...“

“Met some friends for the Cubs opening day game on one of several television screens. I ordered a half pound burger from Thayer Brothers which is next door. It was prepared perfectly paired with fries and some tasty chicken noodle soup. I was in the mood for a beer on tap and was told they have not had "on tap" for over two years due to the pandemic. I hope they get that situation remedied when I go back.“

“Been at Big Basin for about 9 years now, love it there. It's the closest to home and the lowest price of the three marina's on this section of the river. I just need a launch ramp and a dock, but have really enjoyed Big Basin. Parking lot gets a tad crowded on the weekends (of course).“

“Kindly note that this is an adult wine and cocktail bar with carefully curated small plates, catering exclusively to a 21+ crowd. Great owners, staff, libations and eats. Served by Madison last night who was just delightful. No dress code but folks seem to take it up a notch from brewery wear.“
