“Delicious. Had lunch here today I’d seen all their ads snapdragon thought they looked great snd...they were. Wonderful. We had the cauliflower foe an appetizer ,,I ad a stead burrito and my daughter had steak quesedis sorry about the spelling of the food but it was all delish of the dishes but,,,they were all wonderful.“

“Local eatery with great fast food. You must visit it if you are stopping by Joliet. Visiting this place will help you know one thing or two about this town. It's frugal, family owned, and local. Also, they have great prices. Would definitely recommend it.“

“1930s restaurant and bar with outstanding food and service. It's pronounced "Ma rish kas" heard 4 different pronunciations so finally asked the bartender. We had the pleasure of having Lindsay take care of us. Good prices for large portions of melt in your mouth deliciousness. Very reasonable drink prices to wash it down with cold beverage from a frosty mug. I love the old school charm of places like this. For example, they have five different flavors of breadsticks in their cracker basket.“

“Food is delicious as always, my only comment because it’s not a complaint is I believe the biscuit/bread given with meal has changed, it used to be more like a buttery biscuit or kind of a cornbread and it was so delicious.. and now its a dry biscuit. Really with no flavor. I used to enjoy the biscuit and now I throw it away, which is a shame. I wish you would go back to how it was made before and if that can be done, I’ll give five stars next time.“

“I picked up 2 French onion soups to go. I did not get home until an hour later. Soups were still warm and delicious! The separate container with the bread and melted cheese was perfect, so it didn’t get soggy. I heard there was an egg roll soup! I MUST get that next time. Perfect lunch on a cold wintry day.“

“George’s has been ‘Lockport’…..everyone goes to George’s. Love the place!! Been going there for years! Today I went there for breakfast and was told by the waitress I was not allowed to bring in my own creamer. She said it was because people sneak in alcohol disguised as other beverages. Ok…I get that. They don’t want alcohol in the restaurant….but when she claimed it was COVID related that was utter nonsense. Is this yet another instance of stupidity where COVID is on outside creamer bottles but not on everything other item coming through the door? D****“

“I ordered the jerk chicken with jalapeño cheddar wrap, it came with a bag of regular Lays potato chips, and OOOH WEE it was so good! The photo shows 1/2 of the wrap because I couldn’t wait to dig in. The chicken is moist and very flavorful. Ms. Desiree was so sweet, she made me feel like family. She offered me and my husband a sample of the Obama tea, really good if you like sweet southern peach tea. I highly recommend. *Side note* The counter, kitchen and surrounding area was spotless.

“After being a cook and then a chef retired, I cannot say enough about the delicious, abundant, and perfectly cooked food!! I am beyond picky, to the point where my husband doesn't want to take me out to eat. I always can do better for less. I was completely blown away from our server Lauren, the time and temperature of the food, the cleanliness of the restaurant and the manager who made time to talk to us. My only concern was that the place was empty. If you haven't heard of or visited Burger Theory YOU ARE MISSING OUT!! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY. Thank you to all who put in the work. “To start, I went on a day they had a band playing, and I heard they were in high-school and college. They sounded amazing and made the night better I think. Usually I don't like bands.

The actual bar itself has decent food and its nicely priced. I had a burger which was pretty good, my wife had a chicken wrap which wasn't that good. Atmosphere is pretty cool. Nice bar overall.“

“Well, it's a truck stop, so asking about the atmosphere seems unfair google... the Italian beef actually sucks at pops (sorry but bread that turns to slimy goo when auju'd is gross). But the gyros are good and other menu items are good. The service is ok, never particularly rude here, but definitely obvious no one works at a truck stop location as their first choice in employment.“

“Tony has been making delicious authentic food, at a righteous price, for nearly my whole life out of this location.I have stopped in on occasion for Tacos, Burritos & Horchata.By myself and with my whole family ..everytime, whether dining in or taking for back home.Always a great experience, the portions and flavor are probably the best I will ever have on the planet.

Parking: Close and tidy. Usually not too bad, there is the common lunch rush and weekends can get busy.

“On Feb 17 my granddaughter got married so we decided to go to Cracker Barrel previously I had spoke to the manager Angel to warn her 25-30 people were coming by the way she's awesome! The food was great the waitresses were so nice we had a wonderful experience. I go there to shop lol my daughter eats there every weekend so I would recommend this place hands down!!!!“
