This one man band live entertainment thing seems pretty popular now. I'm not sure with who, tho because very few people seem to be paying attention and table conversations become shouting matches. Not trying to diminish the musicians but I think most people are at a bar/restaurant for food and conversation.
I remember saying that Uptown was not my favorite after going there many years ago. Fast forward to now and I have to say that it is growing on me. I've been there for a late night snack, for lunch and for after dinner drinks all in one month. Each time I've been very satisfied. Service is good, food has been yummy and the ambiance is fun. It was a fun experience, no live band but the football game was great. Food was incredibly greasy and salty so I didn't love that. The service took a while but it was because of the game so a lot of people were here. Overall it was pretty decent.
