“My mom and I like to meet at wineries/ wine bars once a month that halfway for us (parents live in Crystal Lake and I live in LaSalle). Goat and Vine was an excellent restaurant with delicious food and a variety of top notch wines! On top of that, our server made our first time experience that much better; I highly recommend!!“

“We stumbled upon The Tasty Biscuit while in town for a wedding and ended up coming back twice—it was that good. Despite a packed parking lot both mornings, we were seated right away thanks to their fast, efficient service. The coffee was excellent, the menu was full of creative and classic options, and the food itself? Quite possibly the best breakfast we’ve ever had. On our second visit, we even recognized some familiar faces from the day before—clearly, we weren’t the only ones hooked! If you’re anywhere near this place, don’t miss the chance to stop in. “This is a restaurant on a golf course, main entrance is on the main floor, restaurant is on the lower level. The restaurant has a nice cozy lodge feel to it. We were there to celebrate someone's birthday. I had the Chicken Bacon Caesar wrap, with a dollar extra for sweet potato fries, definitely worth it. They were just ever so slightly over done but still great.The sandwich was really good, filled with lots of chicken and I ordered dressing on the side. Our party also ordered a half Caesar salad with chicken, (more than enough for a filling lunch), Buffalo chicken salad, that I am told is very tasty, and a mushroom burger that was huge,( again she said that was fantastic)! For desert we had orange sherbet , very good and creamy, wish there wasn't so much food coloring, I don't like neon colored food, cheesecake, salted caramel gelato, and a complimentary cookie sundae for the birthday girl. We were all very happy with our choices. I'd highly recommend this place and definitely will be back again. Lots more interesting things on the menu to try.“

“I really enjoyed my first visit to LongHorn Steakhouse. I’ve heard about it for a while but never had the chance to try it until now.

The highlight of the meal was the Outlaw Ribeye, which was easily one of the best steaks I’ve had. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The loaded potato and fries were both solid, but the real surprise was the mac and cheese, it’ll definitely be my go-to side from now on.

As for the service, it was a bit inconsistent. The restaurant wasn’t full, as we were seated right away without a reservation, which made the slower, somewhat disorganized service a bit surprising. One of our sides was served cold, which was disappointing.

That said, I wouldn’t hold it against them since the overall food quality was excellent. I still had a great experience overall and would definitely come back. Hopefully, the service will be smoother on our next visit.“

“Corrine was our waitress (me and my daughter)and she did a fantastic job serving us and going over and beyond. She explained the new menu and kelp checking on us making sure we were good on drinks and food. We love her spirit and will request her every time we come back if we can. “The local craft beer selection is diverse enough to satisfy basically any beer fan. I loved the bacon and jalapeño mac and cheese, and I want to take bottles of the fried pickle dipping sauce home! The bartender Jim was very knowledgeable and handled a very busy bar extremely well. I'm looking forward to my next visit!“

“awesome staff at the fuel desk and the restaurant ...but don't count on service they have a huge sign outside that says trailer washouts haha what a joke they make every excuse not to do there job they close service when they want don't believe the set hours they work harder trying to get out of work then if they would do there job .....night and day difference on the inside and outside including the service garage area with broken down fuel pumps old mattresses over flow of garbage everywhere. it makes it look ugly.but inside is nice don't be afraid to go in to eat.but they need a new service garage manager for real.“
