“Bar and liquor store combo with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of whiskey and beer.

We had our rehearsal dinner there, and it was exactly what we wanted. Very much our style. Saved us a bunch of money doing it there vs our other options. And the nice thing was that we were able to cater whatever food we wanted there.

We also got the spirits for our wedding through them. They had the best prices from everything we vetted, and we were able to return all the unopened bottles that were leftover after the event.

Staff has always been very friendly and efficient. I always leave feeling quite satisfied and carrying a take out container for another full meal the next day. I’ve also gone to the Saint Charles location where the menu has a few variations but the same great food and service.“

“This place was spectacular. The food was amazing. I ordered a tuna sandwich that was absolutely delicious, they told me it was homemade, and you could definitely tell. The potatoes were incredible.
My boyfriend ordered a burrito that tasted like homemade comfort food, just like something your grandmother would make. I also really enjoyed the chicken soup; it was divine, super creamy, and full of delicious flavor.
The coffee was absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable. Our waiter treated us with so much kindness and everything was served very quickly.“

“I attended a KW gala night at the Morton Arboretum – Ginkgo Room yesterday evening, and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing.

The views were beautiful, and the overall ambiance felt very high-end and elegant—perfect lighting, great layout, and a refined yet welcoming vibe. It truly felt like a special event space.

The drinks and appetizers were very good. The shrimp cocktail stood out—the shrimp were large, fresh, and delicious. The pasta was good as well. The only small letdown was the bruschetta, which was a bit disappointing compared to everything else.

Overall, the Ginkgo Room is a stunning venue with an upscale feel and a memorable atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend it for galas, corporate events, and special celebrations.“

“Edited, I got a refund today from the wrong transaction. Had the owner not been hostile he could have confirmed which one it was with me on the phone. Instead I got shorted. Terrible experience today. CHARGED ME TWICE, DID NOT GIVE ME A REFUND! Machine said an error with my card, i called my card company in the store upon their request there are no problems with my card. I was there was there over 50 MIN waiting for them to try to give a refund . Employee very sarcastic and gave me a thumbs up when i said i was going to give bad reviews online. May have to contest it with bank to get money back. Another employee argued with me when i said i was waiting almost an hour. Who argues with customers? I asked for something free for waiting and they acted like they were doing me a favor giving me samples to take home, she said i thought you did keto, I said yes but i can give it to my family. I had bought white bread so obviously someone was eating it. Always liked coming here for the quality of products, but i will never come back. They need to get rid of these two. Talked to the owner today he called me. He was angry and defensive the whole time. He is very rude! Needs to take an anger management class. Didn't even hear out my complaint, but was yelling and said I wasn't welcome back and hung up on me! Believe me I do not want to go back! Where is my refund! Your employees should know the ingredients in your products, what if someone had an allergy and became ill because of wrong information given. I was told the gluten free flour was made from almond flour. Had I not come back in because I forgot something i wouldnt have known that wasnt true. All they needed to do was exchange one bread for another instead of trying to refund me unsuccessfully and then recharging me.“

His customer service was great! We showed up an hour before closing. they were cleaning up but still served us with a smile.
Bolingbrook closed so this will be my new noodle home.“

“My husband and I celebrated valentines day early today, I made reservations online which was extremely easy and even had add on options like rose petals on the table! Super cute idea! Ended up having to change reservations due to snow and that was also super easy done online! Our first ever experience at the melting pot and upon arrival the hostess were very welcoming and our sever/waiter was friendly and informative while explaining how everything works. We chose the big dinner for 2 which was a 4 course meal. The spinach artichoke cheese fondue was prepared right infront of us and was absolutely delicious!! The meats and broth were also surprisingly delicious (i was skeptical just boiling my meats, but the flavors soaked into the meats and veggies perfectly seasoning them!) Then onto the chocolate, we chose the turtle chocolate, Carmel and candied pecans. We were almost maxed out but made out way through! 10/10 overall we will be returning customers for sure. Walking out about to leave the owner Mike asked introduced himself and thanked us for dining and made sure our experience was what we expected! Oh, and lastly whoever decided to put candied pine nuts on a Cesar salad is a genius!!!“
