“I came here on a Sunday morning and was pleased with the service and food! My friend and I got seated within 10 mins and decided to split a savory and sweet option. The portobello mushroom focaccia was cooked very well and the portobello itself was very tender and paired well with the peppers and balsamic vinaigrette inside. My favorite item personally is the nutty Nutella waffle, but you should def come in with a sweet tooth if you plan on ordering it:)“

“We had a nice time at the Dock the few times we have been there. Food is good and the view is gorgeous! However we were there last evening with another couple and the service was just okay. When it came to the bill, we weren't charged for the correct stuff at first. Well she got the items right eventually but then we noticed our friends got charged for a refill of iced tea!! Who does that?!? Every place gives free refills!! And my husband had a glass of the house Pinot Noir, 9 oz size, and we were charged $14! I knew this was wrong but the server insisted it was right. I checked the online menu and sure enough, price should've been $10.50, but we'd already left the place. I am so disappointed!“

“My fiancé and I gave this place a shot on Saturday evening and we really enjoyed it! We started with an order of cheese curds, which were really good and looked homemade. My fiancé ordered the Philly Sandwich and said that it was really good. I ordered wings (lemon pepper and Tennessee whiskey) which were also very good. I also ordered Cajun fries, which were too spicy for us (they tasted as though they sprinkled the hottest spices they could find on them, which isn't really Cajun), but someone who likes spice might like them more than us. My only real complaint is that food is pricey, but that's not uncommon for this area. Overall, this is a place we will come back to!Parking: Large parking lot in front of the restaurant, which sometimes gets busy since multiple businesses share the lot.“

“I lived in downtown Lemont for a while and watched Barrel & Vine being built. I've been going since they had a soft open. I absolutely LOVE their chimichurri fries, you need to try them. I now live out of state but stop in for dinner or lunch to meet up with family and friends when I'm in town. Everything I've had is delicious. Pub burger, charcuterie board, jambalaya, fries, short rib bolognese, and finally.. the salted caramel cookie skillet. Don't skip out on the crafted cocktails or dessert.If you haven't tried Barrel &Vine yet, you should. Don't miss out.Parking: Because the restaurant is located downtown, the parking is a little difficult on weekends. There is street parking, and a lot across the street. A block or two away is a free parking garage.“

“The food met or exceeded everyone's expectations. Our server, Brooke, and her assistants were terrific: pleasant, patient, and attentive. The restaurant was full/noisy and the host did his best to accommodate us with a quiet location, a request we made through the app because of the hearing disability of my husband who is a Vietnam Veteran. The volume of the restaurant was still too loud for him: even with hearing aids conversing across a table that could have accommodated eight when we turned out to be only five was challenging, but the window location was the best option and we appreciated that the host did his best. I'm pointing out this situation because it is difficult to find a restaurant that ticks all the boxes: good food, good value, and good conversational ambience. Surely it is a plus that Neat did their best.“

“Overall, this was a decent steakhouse. My husband and I came here on the last day of restaurant week this year, as we love trying different steakhouses. The service was great and our server was attentive despite the busy dinner rush we had entered. The food was decent. For our starter, I got the SRF Wagyu Meatball with Whipped Ricotta and Basil Pesto which was very good. My husband got the lobster bisque which was a bit cold when we got it. For our entree, my husband got the center- cut filet mignon and I got the Double Cut Prime Pork Chop. Again, my dish tasted more on point than his. Both of our desserts hit the spot though! We got the hot chocolate cake and the hazelnut chocolate mousse! Overall, there were some slight misses but definitely a lot of hits!“

“I love this Family-owned business and especially that it is owned by a veteran. My family has been coming here for years, and my go to was always the Shrimp tacos! My last time in with a friend I tried a Burger. I highly recommend The Burgatory. Goat cheese on a burger- Who knew? It's drool-worthy. The other new addition I'm obsessed with is the Fried Pickles and Cheese curds appetizer. Why has no one else thought to combine these two before? And their homemade pie is unbeatable! “Attended the Mondavi wine tasting event at Topaz. The food paired beautifully with the wines. Our entire table agreed that the short rib and smoked butternut squash dish was simply delightful. We kicked off our meal with the Salmon Tartare, a light yet flavorful starter that left me wanting more. The Mahi Mahi, with its coconut curry, was rich and satisfying--I'm crossing my fingers that it becomes a permanent menu item. And the pappardelle with lamb ragu tasted like it was made fresh to order. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience, and I can't wait to return.“

“The food here was delicious. I ordered the Volcano and it wasn't too spicy and had great taste. Their curly fries were very good. The gentleman at the front counter very kindly gave me recommendations and was extremely patient and checked to make sure I liked my meal. For lunch I feel it’s a moderately good deal but for dinner I was a little surprised at the portion size compared to the price, we did enjoy all of our dishes but having a hard time with the value. The charred cauliflower appetizer was tasty but small portion for over $12. The lasagna Bolognese made with a chicken sausage was equivalent of two large raviolis stacked on top of each other. For $20 I would expect a bigger portion. Overall a higher rating due to the ambience of the restaurant and service was good.“
