“I was really missing my regular Bakers Square Outings since Joliet closed so I decided to drive to Woodridge. I was cautiously excited because I've watched restaurant after restaurant raise prices, cut menus, and lower quality. I've been disappointed time and time again, so much so that dining out isn't even fun anymore.

So I was greeted not only by a familiar environment, but a friendly staff, far friendlier than I've become used to. The menu had all my favorites and the hardest part was narrowing it down to just one meal. We got the crepes with bananas and Nutella. The bacon was the best restaurant bacon out there. The hash browns were just like I remembered. The crepes wete amazing, and my pie was the favorite dessert I had missed.

The server was excellent. She was kind and friendly. A young girl with pink hair that seemed to know how important it was for me to have a good experience. She probably gives that level of service to everyone but it was the win I needed this week.

My kid hadn't been since he was young and was shocked to have such a great experience. Bakers Square in Joliet was a favorite in my teens and twenties. I was there a few times a week. Woodridge is definitely farther, but we'll worth the drive.

Additionally the menu prices were reasonable. While many places have raised prices so out of reach for families they remain affordable enough to still get dessert!“

“We dined at Topaz in August 2024 and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We were seated in a comfortable booth. A special mention goes to our server, Sasa, who was incredibly attentive and provided great suggestions. He even surprised us with complimentary limoncellos, which were absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we had the grilled octopus and hummus—both prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. For the main course, we chose the Dover sole and Amish chicken. These dishes were exceptional and stood out as some of the best we've ever had. The potatoes served with the sole were also a delightful surprise. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. “My mom and I like to meet at wineries/ wine bars once a month that halfway for us (parents live in Crystal Lake and I live in LaSalle). Goat and Vine was an excellent restaurant with delicious food and a variety of top notch wines! On top of that, our server made our first time experience that much better; I highly recommend!!“

Great food for reasonable prices, fantastic staff and customer service, and the music is what I come for. I am 70 and find people my age and older, tearing up the rug. Yeah, lots of fun, and comaraderie with those of us senior citizens, that don't act like it, and will enjoy ourselves as much as the band allows. You won't be disappointed with the atmosphere, the music, the customer service, or anything really! Cmon down and see for yourself!“

Since we live in North Carolina, I had to do all the research online. Thank heaven I came across SixtyFour Reserve Room in a Google search. The manager, Andrew, contacted me right away and was so helpful in making suggestions for our event. Cheryl, the events manager, took over in finalizing all the arrangements. There are so many different options for appetizers, meal combinations, wine, cocktails and beer! Our guests were able to choose their favorites ahead of time. When we arrived on the day of the event, we were so delighted by the venue! Everything I had requested was in place, and Cheryl and our amazing server/bartender, Alex, immediately greeted us and made everyone feel welcome. The appetizers and meals were served efficiently and right on the timeline I had planned. The food was incredibly delicious with a pleasing presentation. Our guests had so much fun with the Wine Stations, and the whiskey lovers appreciated the variety of choices. Everyone raved about how much they enjoyed the food, drink and ambiance. Best of all, I was able to relax and enjoy our guests since all the work was done by Andrew, Cheryl, Alex and the kitchen staff. The cost was very reasonable, especially so close to Chicago.
