Jamie our server was excellent and we appreciate the help the manager Amy provided as we celebrated a NINETY-SEVENTH birthday! 🎂🎉 The seafood risotto was yummy and the peach butter cake was delicious. “I’ve ordered takeout and dine in here recently. It was amazing! Food came out hot. The biscuits and gravy, and build your own omelette was so good. Big portion of hashbrowns and good sized omelette! Smash burger and poor boy were also a 10/10. I loved how the bathrooms had complete privacy. They have rubber stoppers that completely block that annoying gap between the door in public restrooms where you can see through! Service was great! Larissa was so kind and patient when dealing with a customer in our section who was not having a great experience! Love the artwork on the walls! Definitely will be coming back soon!“

“I rarely write reviews, but I had to share my experience at the Culver’s on Larkin.

From the moment my sister and I walked in, Julius at the counter treated us with exceptional kindness and respect. He deserves a raise! He asked for my name when I ordered and continued to address me by name throughout my entire visit, which made the experience feel so personal and welcoming.

I usually visit the Shorewood location, but I’ll definitely be coming back to the Joliet Culver’s just to see Julius again. Outstanding customer service like his is hard to find!

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Joliet location. We stopped there after taking my grandmother to the casino and she didn’t have her wheelchair. She walks but very slowly. The staff was super kind and made sure she had a walkway and opened all the doors for her. They didn’t rush her or make her feel bad for taking a while! They cared and were so helpful! Great food and great staff! Thank you!“

I avoided them like the plague for years because I'm anaphylactic to Dairy that I found out the reason their hamburgers were dairy-free was just because they were adding Dairy to the buns. I found out if I just order it and tell them not to butter the bun I can eat it just fine! The bread is literally like cloud bread it's so soft and fluffy like no other bread I've tried except for Tim Hortons sandwich bread but that's all the way in Canada so I can't get it often. The only reason I gave this four stars is because their fries need to go. They have those crinkle cut fries in most of them are too soft for my liking. I like thinner and crispier, exactly what pops in the gas in wash serves, or Johnnie's beef serves in Elmwood Park or Nikki's hot dogs on Archer in Chicago. The soft crinkle fries gotta go. Hope one day that upgrade to more thin and crispy fries. Otherwise great food! Oh and one other upgrade would be nice if they got rid of the darn Sweet baby Ray's and made a good barbecue sauce to dip the tenders in because those are actually really good and by the way they're dairy-free as well! Although the chicken fingers are insanely priced.“

“On Feb 17 my granddaughter got married so we decided to go to Cracker Barrel previously I had spoke to the manager Angel to warn her 25-30 people were coming by the way she's awesome! The service was a bit slow. Today I had the gypsy skillet and substituted for the fruit. Better presentation. Server remembered me and was was very attentive. I hope to go back for their new dinner. Maybe they could table tent some of the different dinners?“

“I have to write a super positive review about a waitress here. This is my favorite place to have a wholesome, down to earth, old-fashioned breakfast or lunch. The food is so tasty and done well but the main reason I comeback is because of the waitress Suzanne! She is so personable and attentive. She lives in the area so you can converse with her about local issues and know she is feeling the pain about things going on in our town right now. She's gentle and funny and really knows her stuff. I depend on her recommendations often. She is a hidden treasure in Joliet and should be recognized for the exceptional job she brings to her job.“

“I like crispy crust on my chicken and the chicken here is very crisp and golden brown ...the breast and thighs are bigger than you get at other chicken places too. They are somewhat more expensive but if you buy the daily deal it is great. Mushrooms are the best around.“
