“Everything about this place is amazing! The food is delicious and did not disappoint, we had a steak burrito, tacos (al pastor, lengua and cabeza) and agua de horchata! The steak in the burrito was well seasoned and beautifully cooked and the burrito in general was super delicious! The Al pastor was flavorful and well cooked and the lengua/cabeza were so flavorful and tender ?. The environment feels cozy and home-y like you're eating at your grandma's house and the food tastes like love and happiness. I wish I could eat here everyday, I can't wait to return and try other items on the menu!“

“Great Mexican food! Flavorful and not as salty as so many other Mexican Restaurants in the area.
Service is quick and the staff is friendly.
We've been here several times, both for dine in and take out and we have not been disappointed with any of our orders.“

“I've driven past this place for 10 years. Finally stopped. They bring out all the stops with the chips and salsa, including the jalapenos and carrots. Salsa's were all pretty tasty. La Mex still has the best salsa in Joliet area. But.... the Pico De Gallo is by the far the best I've had in quite some time. It is spicy. I did the Carne Asada Dinner and was absolutely delicious. Ordered "Medium" and it came out just as ordered. The rice and beans are legit and have a nice flavor without having to drown in salt or salsa.
Unfortunately, I didn't have time to try the Margaritas, usually a step in how I choose Mexican places to eat, but will try on my next visit.
Nice little vibe to the place where you could either stop for some drinks or have a full family meal. As I find with most small restaurants in the area.... Get you bathrooms in order. They smelled clean like bleach, but was very dim and sticky.
Service was good, no issues and no complaints.
Great job here. Want to try this place again. Possibly the Ceviche
Cheers guys!“

“My family and I just got done with our dinner here, this is usually are go to Thursday spot. The food was excellent as always, service was great - although, they usually are slammed, as in, every table is full from 4pm-7pm, get there early or get there later, because it is crazy at that time. All around great experience always“

“This is my third time I believe eating here and I am satisfied every time. The fresher you get it, the better it is. Go to for me is always steak tacos corn tortillas. I’ve tried the churro and liked it a lot too. The nachos can use more chips and the fries can be cooked longer, but I always appreciate the convenience so no real complaints“

“Really good. Consistent. Beef, chicken, pork, shrimp tacos are all tasty, not too salty, and NOT TACO BELL. Good quesadilla. Enjoy the rice and beans. A reasonable price. Not much parking but ok. Watch for the lights to be on, later hours Friday and Saturday.“
