“This is truly a hidden gem in downtown Joliet. Food was absolutely delicious. We tried the pollo anticuchero, the lomo saltado and the papa a la huancaina and it was all very tasty. I had the parchita for a drink and it was also very good. We will definitely be back.“

“This was my first time trying this restaurant. It was super easy to place my order over the phone. I ordered the taco dinner (2 chicken & 1 steak with double rice) and a small elote. When I picked the food up the inside of the restaurant was soooo cute and cozy. Very welcoming! The staff were so nice and helpful. The food was an absolute 10/10! I loved everything! Perfectly seasoned! I will definitely be back again 🙌🏾“

“Cute little restaurant that you might miss from the street if you didn't know it was there. The booth was comfortable and the service was good. I got a frozen strawberry margarita and it was a good size for the price and very tasty. Their fresh guacamole was delicious! I could almost have made a meal out of that. I got an asada burrito suiza. It was almost 12 inches long and stuffed with meat. The asada was tender and had very good flavor, obviously seasoned well. I could only eat half. I got the dinner, so it came with rice and beans. I loved the beans. They were extremely light and creamy. My husband loved them as well. He got the chicken and shrimp fajitas, which he really enjoyed. Had to take a lot home because the plate was filled almost to overflowing. He said the seasoning on the fajitas was very good and it came with guac that I don't think extra. My stepmom got a burrito bowl, which she really enjoyed. My dad got the shrimp with chipotle crema. He said it was very good. It came with tortillas to make tacos out of if you wanted. He was just eating the shrimp in the delicious sauce all on its own. Overall, very enjoyable dinner and we will definitely go back!“

“I visit this place at least twice a week when my group plays DnD for a little over a year now and they never disappoint. Food is fantastic and the church's are always hot and fresh. My favorite thing is to get the small $1.50 bag of hot carrots with any meal. Also the horchata is delicious. Customer service is wonderful. The ladies make sure you get all your food.“

Although she was very busy, she was very pleasant and helpful specially when I had to return my steak because it was under cooked to my taste. She took the steak back to the kitchen no problem and came back with a little better cooked steak with a brand new potato and veggies! The shrimps cocktail was very nice. Overall good food and good service. Perhaps the prices are a little higher but eating out these days is more then it used to be. The gentleman who took my original inquiry was pleasant, helpful and explained everything in detail. The night of the order we were running behind schedule and I called to the restaurant to make the change with no problem. When I arrived to pick up the order they were so helpful and even carried the order out to my car without hesitation. The food was amazing! All my guests loved it and it was a big hit of the weekend. “If you like eating delicious tacos outside, with a view of a parking lot after being slightly mistreated by the staff, boy do I have a spot for you. Walking up, there is a window on the back of the grocery shop under a small overhang where you can order. The staff is always in a huge rush and it’s very obvious by how they treat you. When you place your order, you have to wait for your number to be called. They are also VERY stingy with their sauces. After you get your food your options are to eat under a small overhang in whatever temperature it is outside, or eat in your car. It makes for a not so great experience. Although, with great tacos at an affordable price, I will still keep coming back. No matter how rushed the staff may make me feel.“
