“Delicious steak! the beans are really good and the portions are always generous. The enchilada sauce is just right. Very kind hostess as well. The horchata isn’t the craziest but we surely drank it all lol. A few tables but not a whole lot of room to eat inside but is perfect for takeout.
Vegetarian options: veggie tortas, veggie burritos, veggie nachos, etc.“

“I've been wanting to go to this restaurant because I heard so much about it.So I had my son take me. The food was okay, very overpriced. they have a special from 3 to 6. The only way you find out is when you go in the bathroom and look at the wall, the advertisement. tacos are from $5-7 dollars. 😒“

“My husband and I went for dinner in restaurant and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious, and the best part was that the chef Sergio sent us a dessert he had created that day. La comida está deliciosa,fresca los tacos al pastor muy deliciosos el chef Sergio en el menú tiene tacos al la portabella deli deli 10 d 10 , el postre de pistacho 10 el servicio excelente muy a tencion d 10 . “We celebrated my Uncle’s 86th birthday here and it was so very special! Michael was an amazing server; very attentive and knew the menu up and down. I had empanadas and seafood pasta and the food was delicious. We didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor patio but the ambiance looked amazing. All around great experience thanks to Michael and the staff.“

“My 3rd time there and had the Chile Relleno dinner.,the Best I ever tasted!!! The sauce they are in is so delicious and the peppers are so fresh and made perfect! The whole dinner was great! you can taste the quality of their food and crave more! The owner and staff are so nice and you will want to go back again.“

“OMG! We found this place on a whim, looking for GF in Oak Lawn for last minute lunch options. Stumbled upon this GEM! I am no vegan, but the flavor profile is so spot on. Casandra was so amazing, putting together a random taco tray that was so delicious! And A+++ for presentation! Thank you Abuelita Coco, we will be back :)“

“This place was so good! My boyfriend, baby, and I came here to dine in yesterday and the food was phenomenal. We were looking for queso barria tacos on google and they showed up. The server was awesome. They didn’t have a kids menu but I asked if they can do rice and eggs for the baby and they did just that he loved his meal as well! The cook even came to talk to us for a bit which I thought was pretty cool…very personalable! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for your service 😁“

“Cute little restaurant that you might miss from the street if you didn't know it was there. The booth was comfortable and the service was good. I got a frozen strawberry margarita and it was a good size for the price and very tasty. Their fresh guacamole was delicious! I could almost have made a meal out of that. I got an asada burrito suiza. It was almost 12 inches long and stuffed with meat. The asada was tender and had very good flavor, obviously seasoned well. I could only eat half. I got the dinner, so it came with rice and beans. I loved the beans. They were extremely light and creamy. My husband loved them as well. He got the chicken and shrimp fajitas, which he really enjoyed. Had to take a lot home because the plate was filled almost to overflowing. He said the seasoning on the fajitas was very good and it came with guac that I don't think extra. My stepmom got a burrito bowl, which she really enjoyed. My dad got the shrimp with chipotle crema. He said it was very good. It came with tortillas to make tacos out of if you wanted. He was just eating the shrimp in the delicious sauce all on its own. Overall, very enjoyable dinner and we will definitely go back!“

“It is heartwarming to see a family working hard and earning a living. It is take out only. We had the steak burrito and it was tasty and the meat was in generous portions and it was nice and hot on a cold rainy day. The prices are the best.$9.55 for a steak burrito is unbeatable. I highly recommend this place. Honest and hardworking folk.“

“My wife and I are so glad we discovered this place. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by genuinely polite and welcoming staff. The food comes out quickly every time, and you can tell there’s consistency in the kitchen — it’s always on point.
We’ve been here at least 6–7 times so far and have tried the steak, pastor, and chicken tacos. The meat is always high quality and the tortillas are soft and fresh every single time.
And we can’t leave without getting the rice pudding for dessert — it’s become a tradition for us. Highly recommend!“

“First time going there, the burrito was incredible tacos had everything on it most place just do cilantro and onion but they have the works the taco shell was like it was seasoned but it was just the way it was cooked I’m going back even though the burrito had a decent amount of meat I wanna order it with extra next time“

“The food here was pretty good, but the drink servings here are huge. I asked for a medium, and looked like a large. There was no small on the menu either. But, for 3 dollars with a drink that large is definitely worth it. Also, food was great, just that their salsa was overly watery.
The service was honestly very great, I got my food quick, and the lady who was serving my family and I, was great. She was very social, and nice.

“Taco diner with asada and pastor. This restaurant has a wide variety of meat types for tacos and authentic Mexican food. The service on the phone was amazing and pickup was awesome. The inside is very accommodating and they have a bar for drinks.Regarding our food choices, the buffalo wings were the only regret, as they were very salty and over-seasoned.“

“Went in tonight and Girl is wiping her nose with her hand and then packing food and carrots/peppers. Made me sick to my stomach seeing her touch my food with WHATEVER secretions were on her hand! “Jalisco Express is my favorite taco spot! I have been coming here for years , and the food is always consistently amazing. The meat is excellent quality, and you can really taste the difference. Everything tastes fresh and authentic.
Camilla was so friendly and helpful, and the service is always fast and attentive. Everyone makes you feel welcome, even when they are busy.
