“I always walked past this place but finally decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was nice, the people were friendly and I got this family like vibe from the restaurant. I ordered two burrito suizo dinners and a large horchata. Wow, that horchata was big! I love this place already! My relative and I really enjoyed the food. Kudos to everyone at Taquería Los Taquitos. It's a hidden gem for me.“
“My first time food was excellent, was ready in a timely fashion and was not expensive. I will recommend this place to anyone. In my opinion better than the big Mexican restaurants including Pepe's. Customer service is very professional. You get your money worth! Won't be my last time eating here.“
“This restaurant really shocked me with the taste of the food. The food was so delicious I wanted to chew my fingers off too to get all the rest of the goodness off of it. This may sound funny but seriously, the food was so good and although I don't live in Illinois but every time I come to visit I will come to this place. I love the chicken Alfredo. Thank you to the staff and the owner that happened to be there at the time for the hospitality and for such great service. The prices are reasonable and that's shocking because the food is too good for the prices that they are. I think they should be more but I'm grateful for where they are. I recommend this place. If you want good food, please visit them get your food from there you will thank me and please give them a great review as well because this place really deserves all of that. “I usually don't leave any type of reviews unless I am personally moved by the establishments. But this little restaurant just personifies the current aged and melancholy sense of the American Dream. People work very hard in order to flourish here in the states. And often times are given the short end of the stick all while still pushing on and doing their very best with what they have.Long story short. We ordered online through a third party and the restaurant had no capability of retrieving the order because they no longer did business with them. They struggled to get anyone in contact who could help so they decided to do the honorable thing and took it upon themselves to cater to our personnel at my workplace to make sure we got what we had paid for even if that meant it came with a potential loss. The employees are kind, thoughtful, and evidently very hard working. Always bustling through, doing whatever they could to help the kitchen. The kitchen staff worked as the heart of this place to fly out orders as soon as possible. You can TELL these hardworking people have a passion in what they do. That it matters to them. I truly hope that they are able to get this issue resolved because otherwise they were a pleasure to do business with. The food was also very and I mean VERY delicious. Give it a try, you will be in good and very capable hands.“
