We had the steak burrito and it was tasty and the meat was in generous portions and it was nice and hot on a cold rainy day. The prices are the best.$9.55 for a steak burrito is unbeatable. “We celebrated my Uncle’s 86th birthday here and it was so very special! Michael was an amazing server; very attentive and knew the menu up and down. I had empanadas and seafood pasta and the food was delicious. We didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor patio but the ambiance looked amazing. All around great experience thanks to Michael and the staff.“

“I ordered three pastor tacos and a steak burrito for a quick lunch here. The small dining area has a completely relaxed, classic taqueria layout that just feels right.
The pastor meat had a really nice crispy exterior from the spit and the green salsa has an awesome spicy kick to it. The burrito tortilla was perfectly toasted on the grill so it held together well. It is just a really convenient, solid neighborhood counter to get authentic Mexican food on Commercial Ave without any fuss.“

“Good restaurant with very good food. The service in my experience was a little bit on the slower side but not painstakingly slow. The staff are very polite and helpful with their customers. The food is more expensive than other Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in Oak Lawn, Burbank etc but I think that’s because the city of Chicago taxes small businesses unfairly just to stay afloat so the restaurants have to make up for that charging extra for their food. I’m not in Evergreen Park that often but I do plan to make occasional visits to stop and dine in here.“

“This place was so good! My boyfriend, baby, and I came here to dine in yesterday and the food was phenomenal. We were looking for queso barria tacos on google and they showed up. The server was awesome. They didn’t have a kids menu but I asked if they can do rice and eggs for the baby and they did just that he loved his meal as well! The cook even came to talk to us for a bit which I thought was pretty cool…very personalable! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for your service 😁“

This restaurant is a total hidden gem. It’s easy to see why the locals flock here—the food is consistently delicious and the service is incredibly welcoming. The lady at the front is exceptionally friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home the moment you walk in. I tried the steak tostada, which was excellent, and both the al pastor and steak tacos were top-notch. If you’re in the area, you definitely have to check this place out. The food comes out very fast, more of a take out spot and eat in the parking lot or take to go, very limited space inside.“

“Had the pleasure of hosting my first baby shower here a few weeks back, and despite the covid issues we were still able to pull off an amazing party! With the help of the owner Jessica! Everything was wonderful, plenty of space for guests to keep a social distance, bar option available, a nice stage and Dj booth for music. Everything was very clean and modern. Jessica even helped us get decorated and set up. I couldn't have asked for a better venue! Everything turned out beautifully! Thank you City Limits! We will definitely be returning soon“

“Delicious fresh food. Friendly service. Cute tiny restaurant. We had breakfast egg dishes ($9), which were wonderful and came with beans, avocado slices, and tortillas. Lots of care was taken with our food. Our food was tasty and appealing. We were also given chips and homemade salsa. We are glad we chose to eat here. Cash only, but there is an ATM. We found a parking spot at the end by the liquor store. Next to a laundry, might be a little hard to notice from the street.“

“The food here was pretty good, but the drink servings here are huge. I asked for a medium, and looked like a large. There was no small on the menu either. But, for 3 dollars with a drink that large is definitely worth it. Also, food was great, just that their salsa was overly watery.
