We had the steak burrito and it was tasty and the meat was in generous portions and it was nice and hot on a cold rainy day. The prices are the best.$9.55 for a steak burrito is unbeatable. I highly recommend this place. Honest and hardworking folk.”

“As I walked in the cashier was too busy playing a game on her phone. She acted as if I was disturbing her. Anyway now to the pizza I ordered a small pizza with 4 toppings, extra cheese and sauce. It was 30 dollars a couple of the toppings was a double charge. They told me 40 minutes. I've never waited that long for a pizza but okay. It wasn't definitely no extra cheese and sauce. I must say it was delicious. Just a few things rubbed me the wrong way so I'm not sure if I will try it again”

“This is a great BBQ place in Markham, IL. Not a fancy joint, but the food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable and the staff are efficient and polite. THIS IS A CASH ONLY ESTABLISHMENT! They also have lunch specials EVERYDAY from 11am-3pm. Can't say enough good things about them. And unlike my experience in Chicago at one of the well-known BBQ places on the south side, you don't have to wait in line for hours just to get in the door and then have staff be rude and disrespectful!”

“This Review is Long Overdue - About a Month Ago, I revisited the White Castle Markham, Il, as during a prior visit my Chocolate Shake was omitted from that order, we called at that time and the manager(Skylar) humbly apologized for the mishap, and promised to accommodate us on a future visit... When I returned, I was greeted again by Skylar aka Sky, she's the lady who strongly resembles the actress Teyana Taylor - very beautiful and lovely spirit to match... I Love This White Castle,*clean, *fast service, *courtesy, *great food, always served hot and fresh, *a friendly atmosphere!!! “When heading towards Beverly for a property management home inspection, I wanted to find a local coffee joint that I could get a coffee and a snack of some sort. Afro Joe's was calling to me. Walking in, greeted warmly, the adventure began. If you haven't been, check the menu before you go because you will want to order one of each item! Since it was my first time, most certainly NOT the last, I needed a lifeline. Charmaine to the rescue. I don't know if I manifested or she read my mind , but when I asked which sandwich I should order instantly , she said the short rib! Boom! Done. Next up, a drink choice. Again I was not led astray. The option was a blueberry lavender cold brew topped with rose cold foam. As she was suggesting the option, Charmaine lifted the one she was drinking and again instantly sold. No chocolate croissant available since it was later in the morning but the chocolate morning roll was there and three for three, the order was placed. I already know that I have to come back, time and time again.Just walking in such a chill vibe , perfect music, everyone tables either working or chatting with a friend. The open kitchen invites you to see the hustle and bustle. The garage doors roll up onto the patio for warmer days and what appears to be local art work adorns the walls. When I tell you, this is absolutely no exaggeration, every item was on point! The short rib was so flavor forward eith the bite of picked onions, there was a side of diced pickles and onions too. Also a hit. The warm bun had some fruit nestled in its chocolatey tummy, flakes and moist with the richness of cocoa. And for the latte, cold, sweet and the flavors all complimented each other so well. I did opt for whole milk because, why not?!? I had one too many client emails and texts to be able to enjoy grabbing a book from the shelf but note, they even had the sharpest of colored pencils to doodle or write a note with. I have not one complaint, well, maybe one, I wish they were in my neighborhood because this would be a staple place to visit regularly! Until we meet again and I can get my hands on a chocolate croissant next...or any one of the other of their baked goods. Support your Local Black Owned Businesses!”

“I ordered the avocado chicken curry with rice! It was absolutely delicious. Very flavourful. Just perfect. My friend got the avocado mac and cheese. I tasted it and loved that too. The portions are large and we brought some home. We got the avocado cheesecake cup for desert and wow! Yummy yummy yummy. They have a kids menu too! I will be a regular customer in the future. You have to try this place!”

“I first discovered Noon O Kabab in 2016 when I came to the city to do some work training. I had never had Persian food, but I was hooked immediately. There are so many amazing flavors and everything goes together so perfectly! I drive two hours north as often as I can to dine-in or pick-up. The staff are always incredibly friendly and accommodating. Tamara made our experience this time wonderful. She is an absolute joy! The pita bread served with fresh onion, little feta cubes and garlic cream sauce is to die for. We always get the hummus too. I highly recommend the beef koubideh with half and half dill and white rice. The portions are huge and price is very reasonable! We always have extra to take home and enjoy the next day as a special treat. The atmosphere is very classy and clean. If you haven’t been here you gotta go! Like now. RUN!!!! 😍😍😍”

“Was recommended this restaurant from a friend. The maple tree and did not disappoint. Made a reservation online easy. Their menu is awesome, simple and delicious. Crab cake was perfect! Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!”

“As I had recently arrived from Denver, CO to pay my brother a visit. He treated me by taking me to the King of Falafel & Shawarma. The cook/cashier took our order; falafels with hummus and a mixed dish with rice and various meats (the Junior). I cannot stress enough the delicious flavors of every single food I put in my mouth. I was saddened to realize that I would have to go back home and not enjoy this food on a regular basis. So on my last day of vacationing, I went back and ordered numerous amounts of those delicious dishes, which I was able to take back on the flight and ultimately freeze for later enjoyment. I highly recommend this restaurant. Because aside from the delicious food, the staff were very courteous, warm and inviting. 5 stars out of 5!”
