“Ok, I will do my best to tell you how good and authentic the food is here. But first, I noticed how clean the place is, good way to start food handling. We ordered the 3-taco dinner which comes with rice and beans or fries. Hubby went for the fries and immediately he was in my rice and beans! FOMO! Guacamole was fresh and chunky, chile relleno had the right amount of cheese, and the horchata was refreshingly delicious. You can have 3 different tacos so I ordered, steak, chicken and lengua (beef tongue). The steak was flavorful, bursting with umami! The chicken was also superbly seasoned. Best of all, the lengua was fye, as my millenial kids used to say! Do they still say that?!? Ok so back to the lengua. The texture was very smooth and tender, flavor was on point without any lengua after taste as some would have when the cooking process is rushed. My hubby doesn’t eat such smooth muscle meats but he actually liked this one! Most of all, Juan was ever so friendly and hospitable. “I have lived here in the heights for many years and this is the first time I have eaten here and let me tell you, this restaurant is one of the best Mexican restaurant ever..The waitress I had was named Julie, she pleasant and courteous. My order came very quickly and the food was amazing. I will definitely be coming back here for sure on the weekend to try the homemade tortillas. I give million star rating.“

“I started going here for date night with my hubby and love it. We made this our usual spot. The food excellent, waiters and waitresses very nice the owners are so sociable and they make sure you’re happy with their service. The Margaritas are great here they always have specials. The Karaoke nights and entertainment nights are so fun We have met so many cool people here and have new long term friends. Chicago Heights really needed this . Thanks to the new Pepes owners for bringing up our community. Giving us adults a spot to relax after a long day at work and making us feel like community family. Please go try them out you won’t be disappointed. They book parties rooms for graduation birthdays and anniversary baptisms and retirement parties. Definitely the spot .

“Was visiting family and was looking for a taco spot and based off pictures and the menu variety I chose here. The line was long but it was dinner on a Friday night so it's expected. The fact that there's a drive thru is a giant plus. Once the food arrived me and my family enjoyed every bit of the food. The torta was delicious, the rice was on point and the frijoles are out of the world. Other family members also had a torta and tacos al pastor and they loved it as well. Highly recommend“

“Burrito Station serves my all-time favorite steak burrito! I don't know how they make their steak, but it's the best. I have favorite places all over, like El Gallo in Orland Park and Taquerias Atotonilco in Joliet, but this is my #1 for a steak burrito. Also, in the top 3 for horchata! I'm so glad this location survived!“
