“I went here Sunday for lunch. The food and service was excellent. I had the steak and chorizo taco with rice and beans. Both tacos were filled with meat. Super good and filling. I highly recommend the apple pie. I got the dessert to go and it did not disappoint. It was the best apple pie I have ever had.“

They serve some of the most delicious tacos I’ve ever had. I’ve tried every single one, and they never disappoint. The shrimp tacos are my personal favorite — packed with flavor — but the tripe, salmon, and steak tacos are also incredibly tasty.
Their nachos are great as well, loaded and satisfying. And you can’t leave without getting one of their horchata drinks… so refreshing and the perfect complement to the meal.
Highly recommend stopping by if you want quality, flavorful food every time.“

“Always friendly and food and drinks made fresh. Enjoy that owner came to ask how our meal was. Surprised that they offered a free taco lunch on my birthday. This makes about 6-8 times I’ve been here, with the same great food and service. I highly recommend going here when Mexican food is on your mind.“

“It is heartwarming to see a family working hard and earning a living. It is take out only. We had the steak burrito and it was tasty and the meat was in generous portions and it was nice and hot on a cold rainy day. The prices are the best.$9.55 for a steak burrito is unbeatable. I highly recommend this place. Honest and hardworking folk.“

“The staff was very attentive, polite and helpful. The tacos I purchased were full of flavor and the portion size was unbelievable (in a good way of course) and worth every penny. There was also something missing from my order but the staff helped me out with that in less than 30 seconds. Overall if yall want some good Mexican food this is definitely one of the places to go to.“

“The food here was pretty good, but the drink servings here are huge. I asked for a medium, and looked like a large. There was no small on the menu either. But, for 3 dollars with a drink that large is definitely worth it. Also, food was great, just that their salsa was overly watery.
The service was honestly very great, I got my food quick, and the lady who was serving my family and I, was great. She was very social, and nice.

“Burrito Express is great for take out. It may not have a lot of ambiance but the food is really good amd they are always friendly. I asked for fajitas with no peppers and onions for my son with food sensitivity, and they accommodated us with no issues. The quesadillas are really flavorful and filling. They are a go to for us.“

“I've been in Hammond for a long time and I'm not really a Mexican food eater even though I like it I'm not a big bean eater I went there today and got a steak burrito with everything on it. I would say it was the best burrito I ever had in my life. Even without beans. Give them definitely two thumbs up plus. My picture is only half of it they cut in half“

“I got the taco dinner and the nacho fries. First, the size of the taco dinner is actually really good for the price. I got double rice and no beans because I’m not a fan of refried beans. The nacho fries were HEFTY. I picked up the container and HOLY MOLY! It was A LOT of food! Definitely a great price! Will be ordering again!“

A total of $19 plus taxes would be $21 and they charged me $27. I asked why and they told me taxes... the same thing happened to three other people at that time and the answer was the same. Once again the food was very tasty but tipping would have to be an option and believe me I always leave a good tip.“

“Drive through Dubai strawberries after work was a nice treat. The lady on the speaker was very kind and in the window was also very pleasant and compliment my gear shift. The staff alone is reason enough to come back. Anyone that can make you smile is worth going to see.“
