“After having a disappointing experience at another restaurant, we called Casa De Luz to see if they could accommodate our party of 13. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and efficient. We had no issues with seating, and our orders were taken promptly without feeling rushed. The food? Absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their dishes. On top of the great food and service, the prices were very reasonable, making the entire experience even better. We couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable dining experience. If you’re looking for a place that values its customers and serves fantastic food, Casa De Luz is the place to go! We’ll definitely be back!“

“Pretty good food with great service. Unfortunately, inside is filthy & humid with multiple dehumidifiers running & multiple stacks of knockoff laundry detergent pails taking up 20% of the seating/waiting area. Dirty plexiglass separates you from the flattop grill. At least that allows you to watch the preparation of your food. I always get takeout, so atmosphere is acceptable to me for the authentic Mexican food 😋“

“The goat of goat tacos!! I've heard alot of people from the region say you have drive to the east side for authentic goat tacos. Not true!!! Right on Gostlin Street in Hammond is some of the most delicious birria you'll ever eat!! Free parking lot but limited number of tables inside!“

“Service was great they were patient and helpful. Didn’t take long for me to get my food and everybody working there was very nice. I visited yesterday on my way home for the first time I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area.“

“My first time eating Gorditas, and how DELICIOUS.
Here they make very delicious ones, both meat and chicken, for me the Chicken one was the tastiest and with everything.
The tacos are also very delicious, although they do need to add guacamole.
I recommend this place 100%“
“We rode past this truck a few times but today we decided to stop. Let’s just say it’s a 10/10 we would show a picture but we ate it all it’s not over season the steak is real streak only bad thing is I don’t like two shell lol.. but that’s a me thing . we will be back.“

“This is our favorite restaurant! We go almost every weekend. The food is delicious and a great value! You get a lot for your money. We were SO sad to hear that Chuy doesn’t work here anymore! 🥲 He is such a hard worker and has an excellent personality. It won’t be the same without him!“

“Drive through Dubai strawberries after work was a nice treat. The lady on the speaker was very kind and in the window was also very pleasant and compliment my gear shift. The staff alone is reason enough to come back. Anyone that can make you smile is worth going to see.“

They offered to clean a table for me. They had a pretty full restaurant.
The reviews said the food was really good.
I will have to check it out again next time. I did look in the refrigerator for ingredients in mineral water.
I prefer 100% natural mineral water.
No big deal as it wasn't a requirement.
I hope to check this place out in future.“
