“We are a local business and we ordered catering for a meeting. The food was delicious! They were very generous with the taco meat, everyone loved the flavor, and the cost was very reasonable per person (with rice and beans). Highly recommended for office or home!“
“I was passing through the place and I found this place, the food is very good and delicious, the tacos ? and the delicious gorditas are very generous with the meat ?, I ordered takeout and the only thing I didn't like was that they charged me for the lemons hehe, On the receipt there was a charge of $1.50 for lemons, but it is worth eating at this place, as a recommendation they need a spicier sauce, I hope to return soon ?“
“I go to this place EVERY DAY, I'm not even joking either. They have the best steak tacos on flour, they also have some great hot sauce ... I get mine in a big cup lol it's soooooooo good .... The service is fast & on point all the workers are nice & polite PLUS I love that they have my fresh Serrano peppers yummy... I can't wait to go back tomorrow lol I'm obsessed“

“We found this place on our way to Raleigh, NC from Chicago. Stopped here after reading reviews online. TRUST THE REVIEWS that say this place is good...IT IS GOOD! We just moved to the Chicago area from South Texas, so we know good Mexican food and this place does not disappoint! If you are anywhere near Gary Indiana, you have to stop in to Chela's. It's not fancy at all, but is very clean and the prices are good. We had the Birria Tacos, chips and salsa and several different meat tacos. Then, on our way back from North Carolina, we stopped in again! My fiance thinks this is the best Mexican food outside of Texas. THAT'S saying something! We can't wait to go back!“
“So I've me here several times and everything I've tried so far ha been amazing I love the $1 tacos the best. The fried chicken is very flavorful. It you want sauce in side they are more then happy to do that and try to accommodate everyone and their needs. I would recommend to try this place out. They also have a second location right inside gary that just opened up if that's closer to you.“
