“I wish I’d taken a pic of my food, but I was too busy eating it LOL. I would’ve given them 5 stars if they made my order correctly. I ordered steak with cheese/tomato/lettuce and chicken with onions/cilantro/sour cream. Instead I received steak with lettuce/tomato/sour cream and chicken with onions/cilantro/cheese.

If the order would’ve been right, I would have given 5 stars! The flavor of the meat was perfect, and the limes really set it off. That’s how you know there’s real seasoning. The staff was SO NICE and even gave me directions when my gps did me dirty ?

You can beat the prices, and the addition of cucumbers, radishes, and roasted jalapeños really rounded out my tacos.

Everything was delicious from the Enchiladas, BirriaRamen, Quesadillas and so much more but what I loved the most was the Quesabirria con su Cozumel 😋! The owners and staff are wonderful. “Listen this is an amazing taco truck. I have not been a food truck fan but the pictures caught my attention. I ordered the chicken taco dinner and from the refried beans to each taco the flavors were amazing. I didn’t get a chance to try the rice because it was so much food and my husband left it out. My food looked exactly like the pictures. I was to hungry at the time to take a picture for this review but I will on my next visit. I’ll be back!“

Mz Tookie's was very knowledgeable about the menu & the policy's of the restaurant. They get 4 stars for the atmosphere. They 4 stars for the customer service and they get 4 stars for the Food. I want to thank Mz Sue, Mz B, Mz Yea and especially Mz Tookie for making my dinning experience on the south side spectacular.“

“I've organize Taco Tuesday & Wednesday for my job....OMG, it was easy pleasy working with the staff at Taqueria Varitas, their professionalism, kindness is an understatement. Both days I ordered more than 30 different tacos and they each were individually wrap and marked, which made it so easy for me to distribute to my team. This place is a gem, the tacos are not very reasonable and not to mention DELICIOUS! Everyone can't stop raving about how good they were. I will certainly be ordering from them again very soon, in fact, it will be monthly. Idk how to describe it but I've had Mexican breakfast before from many different restaurant but this one taste best like it was homemade. It's like there was more care made in the food. “I've been here several times. The service is always friendly and quick. Secondly, the food is comparable or average to other Mexican restaurants. Lastly, I recommend getting anything with asada because it's tender. Overall, a nice little spot to grab lunch during work.

“The food is good. Best Pozole and Menudo on the south side. Place is very small and not well ventilated, and it gets very smoky. I don't know if they need a bigger and better exhaust fan for the smoke or what. But the place can sometimes be hard to breathe in. Bathrooms are cramped, with old stucco walls and a very old, worn-out faucet and sink. Can't be easy to keep clean. The place could use a face-lift. For such a small place the service could be better.“

“I had my 40th birthday here over the weekend using the party room with about 40 people. Everything turned out so nice. The food was delicious, the servers were very accommodating, there was live music (which I didn’t know about and many people in the party enjoyed) and a DJ at night. We had a blast and I’m so glad that I did the party here. I had a decorator come to add balloons, and some decor. I was worried that the room would be too small, but it worked out perfectly. Eat there if you want to have the sauce bottle instead of the taco sauce containers.
But the 3 different sauces were FIRE?

Here they make very delicious ones, both meat and chicken, for me the Chicken one was the tastiest and with everything.

The tacos are also very delicious, although they do need to add guacamole.
