Amazing food and amazing service... they were busy so it took a little bit... but it was SO worth the wait! Do yourself a favor... get away from the airport/Chicago as fast as you can... drive right by cracker barrel and get breakfast here... food was awesome!!! Prices are great too!!

Maria’s Cafe is a hidden gem with amazing food and amazing service. The food is awesome, delicious, fresh, and flavorful, with great prices. It is a quiet place, very clean, and feels like grandma’s kitchen. The food is affordable and the servings are fair. The pork tamales were delicious with plenty of meat and sauce, and the strawberry ones were also delicious. Tacos and tamales were delicious, as were the beans and rice, with great guacamole and chips. The horchata was perfect, not too sweet or too thick. Chilaquiles are good, and the tacos of carnitas and chorizo were also good. It is a warm, cozy spot for authentic mexican breakfast. Food is cooked to order but still fast. Conchas were fresh and fluffy, and the decor inside is really cute.
