“I recently had the pleasure of working with Caribbean Roots to deliver food for an event of 120 people, and I was impressed by their professionalism, organization, and the quality of their food. We ordered the Dominican chicken quarters and the cilantro lime coleslaw. Everything was packaged perfectly for transport, and the entire order was ready on time. The staff was friendly and efficient, and it was clear they take pride in what they do. The feedback from guests was overwhelmingly positive — everyone loved the food! “Flamingos has been in town for a long time. Nice little cozy place. A good perch dinner. We like a thin crust pepperoni pizza. The flavor of the pizza dough reminds me of Onos which was one of the Best pizza places, that has a Great flavor to it that you can not find anywhere. The cheese is stretchy when hot. Good flavor! “18th Street Brewery has excellent craft and Rye! Stopped in for the first time and really enjoyed the Pilsner. Support this Woman Owned Business and buy local. We’ll try the food next time. The bar keep Bruce was a lot of fun too! I highly recommend 18th Street Brewery in Miller Beach for craft brewed beer and distilled spirits.“

“Indiana is always refreshing. Illinois overall hands down they hate me when im delivering a lot oof but for indiana never an issue with any delivery anywhere so far north Indiana but most importantly fries and pizza puffs and sandwiches are definitely good I ordered a puff and it was busy as heck. The Lord is Great all the time im home now northwest chicago 330am will see how soon im back the third time I was pulled out from Chicago, to east Chicago, Munster schererville, lake station and Valparaiso zone“

“Had the fried green tomatoes, chicken and waffles, breakfast platter; all of it was homemade and fantastic. Probably the best fried green tomatoes I have ever had. Everyone was friendly. Just all around fantastic. My other half had the burger which looked amazing and had fresh waffle fries. These people know how to cook and treat other people. I’ll be back even though it’s 1000 miles from home.“

“This place has a good variety, wonderful staff, and the Food is decent ! . The desserts are good. Gelato tastes amazing. They had fried ravioli, bread pudding, brisket, ribeyes cooked to order, came on a Saturday evening . They had Cajun ettoufeè with shrimp, chicken ,and sausage. Fried shrimp tasteless, just tastes like oil. I didn’t try the Mexican inspired station , but it looked to have fajitas and all the toppings. Spring rolls not good. Marinara sauce was good.“

“This just happens to be my favorite place to go grab a bite to eat have a delicious cocktail and watch a game or take it to the floor or just share some laughter with my Flossy Posse. The food is great the drinks are great and the Dj's are the best ! I call it a good vibe. It is true that Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came. “The food is great. It is my go-to place for Mexican food. It's very hard to find good Mexican food near my home. Now, the young lady who takes the orders always has an attitude, for some reason, regardless of how nice and polite I am to her. I do wonder how that impacts their business.“

Went back home to Gary to pick up my daughter and had to stop in and get a pound and a half of there shrimp dipped in mild sauce and drove three hours back home very much satisfied.“

“Decided to stop by this place while passing through on interstate 94/80. I ordered on DoorDash for pickup so it will be ready as soon as I arrive. I ordered the three combo meal of shrimp, catfish nuggets and shrimp with came with fries and some hot sauce and mild sauce. The food was fresh and prepared pretty well and seasoned with that lemon pepper seasoning. The employees here are very nice and helpful towards customers and it was pretty busy when I arrived. Overall my experience was nice and I would not mind coming back again soon if I’m in the area.“

For a small, carryout-only spot, this place seriously delivers. Don’t judge it by the outside. This is one of those hidden gems you’ll wish you tried sooner. Wing Wah? More like Wing Wah WOW.
